! ! ! IF YOU CARE ABOUT MULTIPLAYER, YOU NEED TO GET THE "BETTER MATCHMAKING" MOD FROM NEXUS MODS ! ! !

The matchmaking is region locked, and with a smaller population than World, it was nearly impossible to find others without this mod. To play with others, you can join a lobby, initiate a quest and allow others to join, join a random quest, or pick a specific quest and hope that someone else is currently running what you selected. There is no list of ongoing joinable quests like World has. Before installing the "Better Matchmaking" mod, I would most times receive a failed to join quest notification. After installing the mod, I easily connect to others. Besides multiplayer discussion, Rise is the most arcade feeling Monster Hunter. Fast movement and fluid combat while maintaining the classic, addictive gameplay loop. I initially gave the game a negative review based on the matchmaking issue, but I'm revising it now that it has been resolved.

Excellent visuals, soundtrack, performance, and gameplay. The multiplayer was developed by Certain Affinity which is run by the former multiplayer lead on Halo 2 and 3. Unfortunately the population is low now. If you're an achievement hunter, back up your saves often. I have spent the last 2 days completing most of the upgrades, collectibles, masteries, and challenges. After logging in to wrap up the remaining tasks, my save has been reverted to an older version and I lost all progress made in the last couple of days. Irritating!

Recommended for recovering gambling addicts who want to activate the right neurons without the financial loss. The developer is a former slot machine programmer, and he applied that knowledge to Vampire Survivors' design.

👎 Accounts are permabanned for trivial offenses so you must rebuy cosmetics on new accounts
👎 Battle pass progression is slow and seasons are short to make casuals purchase tier skips
👎 Cancelled the PVE mode that was the whole justification for making a "sequel"
👎 Deleted OW1 so there's no way for people who bought it to play it in its final state
