Come for the naval combat, stay for the ship building and increasingly absurd plot beats. A genuinely fun experience that simultaneously doesn't overstay its welcome while rewarding you for the time and care you invest in it. Would gladly purchase again.

Supports custom difficulty setting sliders for AI and Player, affecting things like HP, accuracy, spawn rate, and damage-per-shot independently of one another. Once in a mission, you can access "Assists" a-la Ratchet & Clank's Cheat menu for a variety of fun or helpful effects not determined by difficulty. To top it all off, almost all ship weapons can be assigned to auto-fire on specific classes of enemies so you can focus on maneuvering or using your equipped abilities.

For actionable critiques, I can only think of one that hasn't already been mentioned: some additional insight as to where internal components can be placed per hull, either through a front or "head-on" view placed in the bottom-right of the screen or guide lines that appear when placing/selecting only internals.
