A great RTS game to test your skills. Brilliant graphics, better than previous generations of SupCom. A good game for a time killer, or just to enjoy RTS.

1. IMO i think that forged alliance's graphics are more detailed. yes the nice animation do look pretty but forged alliance's fidelity is greater, especially ground textures.

i'l put up some more pic soon

and as far a the tree lock, say you went the land tree and your opponent went the navel tree. this guy starts to shell your base your land can't get the ships so what do you do.
1. try to get shields, those ship are still there
2. try to get air, oh wait he has an aa upgrade, wishing you went another tree now
3. try to get subs, oh wait again he has more upgrades than you in that tree

this is just one scenerio that this could happen

p.s when i say "you" i mean the player not you specifically

Your exactly right!, But then again with refined graphics its what makes it more visual tantalizing, but with the previous series, you can cheat, code, upgrade, mod and do your things - and walk under water :D and what do you mean by "if you go land you are locked into that tree until endgame where you may the the research points to unlock another tree."?

fine. Forged alliance and SC1 are way better than SC2(or SC3 as you like to call it). They both provide a strategic depth that is not present in SC2. An example of this is the new resourcing system. Once you build your extractors that it as far extractors go for the rest of the game. Sure you can get upgrades in the research tree but its not like the decision of upgrading an extractor to get a economic boost or building more units to increace military strength. Another thing is the inability to change strategy mid game, if you go land you are locked into that tree until endgame where you may the the research points to unlock another tree.
