Kena is the first game made by these developers, and somehow they made a masterpiece straight away. The gameplay is great, the world design is awesome, the story is intriguing and the music is just majestic. Overall it is just an amazing experience to play trough, and play trough again. Some may complain about difficulty, but for those there is always easy mode.

The gameplay is a mixture of stressful encounters and more relaxing traversal sections. While you could focus on just the main quest, there are also plenty of extra's to find and overcome. I also strongly recommend to really take your time and let the immense charm of this game enchant you. My favourite moments were often just sitting on the grass and enjoying the stunning scenery after having fought a hard battle. Using the advanced photo mode this game offers you can also capture these moments to look back on.

I love this game and I could just keep repeating that. But of course, you are reading the reviews to see if this game is worth it, so let me briefly talk about some statistics: An average playtrough will be around 20 hours depending on how much you struggle and explore the world. This may seem too little for the price you are paying, but the sheer quality of this game makes up for it. Because it is so good, you can always replay the game which adds even more to the value. There is also a new game plus feature that completely changes all combat encounters, so you can easily have 2 full playtroughs before you start to feel like you have seen it all.
