Most people say that Dark Souls is an extremely difficult game. What makes it "difficult" is how completely different the mechanics and gameplay is compared to your conventional third persons and hack 'n' slashes. Once you get used to this new playstyle everything becomes a lot more easier but its still no walk in the park.

Dark Souls doesn't really have much of a story or narrative and what is there isn't exactly the most creative writing you've ever seen. Hopefully though the fine balanced gameplay and huge world will make you forget about the story.

Strangely addictive, probably because of how unique it is. You won't find anything else like this.

Garry's Mod, I don't know where to begin with this game. GMod is very much a community driven game, every aspect imaginable can be modified. Gamemodes, models, maps, weapons. This is why Garry's Mod isn't just tonnes of fun for the player to mess around with all these creations, its also attractive to the inquisitive who are interested in the source engine, mapping, modelling and coding.
