If I had to describe this game I'd say it's a halfway point between Minecraft and the Divine Comedy, Only difference is that instead of an Italian man's biblical fanfiction it's a bunch of swedish guy's edda fanfiction set in viking purgatory.

Basic jist is the following: you are a random viking schmuck who isn't QUITE cool enough to go to valhalla... yet. So instead the Allfather decides to plop you in the fabled 10th realm of Valheim and prove yourself worthy by slaying a bunch of baddies Odin never got around to doing himself. All with nothing but the clothes on your back and a giant friendly raven to dish out advice.

My suggestion: Play it like you would Minecraft instead of a typical adventure game and you'll have a blast once you get some metal ;)

To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Rick and Morty. The humour is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of theoretical physics most of the jokes will go over a typical viewer’s head. There’s also Rick’s nihilistic outlook, which is deftly woven into his characterisation- his personal philosophy draws heavily from Narodnaya Volya literature, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these jokes, to realise that they’re not just funny- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike Rick & Morty truly ARE idiots.
