Frankly, Overpriced.
It's a good game, but even with a 30% discount it's not really that worth it.
if the game is on a 50% sale. that's about where it's worth getting for the money
The name is a little misleading. it should be little kitty on the block, since there are barely 5 streets and some alleyways. You might be thinking 'but there's always up right? no the game is almost entirely street level. there are 3 buildings worth climbing. Speaking of climbing, there's literal climbing as well. on surfaces with vines, this climbing is slow and uninteresting and should be avoided at almost any cost.

Even though I don't recommend buying it, it does have some upsides. The game is cute and has some humor. the missions you can do are all charming and well thought out. The animations of both the cat and npcs walking around are expressive and fun. And overall the mechanics work as they should.

Overall a good 6-8 hour long game, with 100% completion in maybe 2 more hours. 4/10

Yo, this game: Pretty cute. ngl.
Big upsides: Free. Pretty fun gameplay, entertaining story, amazing final mission. (I think I that was the final mission, I'll get back to why I'm uncertain.)
Lovely little experience and I'd say very worth playing through once.

Big downsides: the controls are a bit clunky for being a platformer; especially the flying can be pretty awful to control, quite A LOT of small visual bugs, a lot of unintuitive things with the HUD, and ...
Server problems, which is why I can't say for sure if what I played was the final mission. I quit the game because of the error message constantly popping up, and I need to post this review before I forget anything.

I know this game is in early access, which is why this is still a positive review, I hope the devs see this and improve the game, especially the flying controls.

Only having played through the tutorial I'm disappointed, all the mechanics felt mostly like unpolished single player game mechanics, then I learn its mainly a battle royale...

Yes.

You need to remember that you are good enough. You CAN do it. but don't get dissapointed if you don't finish as fast as someone else or don't finish at all. You should go at your own pace, at the pace that feels good for you. At times your sword might seem too long or too short, but don't worry it's never too long or too short. It might be frustrating and seem too difficult to do it right, but I believe you can do it. I believe you will enjoy yourself if you decide to do it. You may find pushing through hard at times, it might feel like it's impossible to do it right. but it's not about doing it right, it's just about having fun.

After all it's just a game...
