Short, sweet, a tad easy, but a good entry. I'd call it more of an an action platformer with backtracking over a metroidvania. Game handles well. Plot....does okay until towards the end when things kinda jump the shark, but it's fine.

Game has a bit of a slow start, and has some odd difficulty spikes here and there. Finding out that potions were consumable and not available on death without buying more kinda sucked, but eventually you get enough healing that you only need those consumables for bosses.

Game overall is well above average, though the lack of iframes until much later in the game is a point of frustration when trying to learn bosses without just powering through them. There's bones of a better buff system that doesn't seem to really have taken well, and the subweapon system, while strong, feels like an afterthought.

Needed a guide to figure out the endgame, but beat all bosses on advanced.

If you love puzzle games and meta-puzzles, this is for you.

I enjoyed my rather short time with the game 100% it. Is it a pretty game? Yes. Is it fairly short. Yes. Difficulty pacing is okay, but I would have liked more of a ramp up in difficulty towards the end. I'm glad this kickstarter game was able to come to fruition, as I've seen other kickstarter games come through and be a disappointment (I was not a backer of this particular game), and it appears it met most of its promises.

I would call this a precision platforming game that's fairly forgiving and contains some minor metroid style backtracking, but not much. There's really not much incentive to go over the areas you already went if you were careful the first go around. In fact, there's only one optional upgrade that I remember having to map into my backtrack and it was fairly easy to snag while going through one of the later areas.

I only had one crash, and I'm pretty sure it was due to a CPU voltage issue I've been having, wasn't a CTD from the game itself, but otherwise had no issues playing the game. Would have _really_ liked a way to skip boss intros, especially on subsequent attempts, and a way to skip elevator scenes or speed them up.

I haven't put a massive amount of time into the game quite yet, but the scale and scope of this game are amazing. Combat is very good, and I'm still getting used to being able to jump freely. Music is fantastic, support for high end systems is there (yes, there's a bit of stuttering, but I believe that will be fixed in time). This is probably going to be my GOTY of my personal catalog for best graphics and best gameplay.

This game is not worth it. Short, relies way too hard on it's jokes, and honestly doesn't go far enough with any of them. It's like the lite version of every single game it parodies.
