Haven't played this much yet, but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, is it addictive. Part of the reason why this game got me hooked is the rougelike mechanic, meaning that there is nothing that you can expect. Sometimes you'll get tons of ammo and food, and other times you will beg not to see another enemy. According to this game's description, this game is "Quakelike". I don't see any similarity in gameplay, but I find the atmosphere to be similar to Quake, and even more similar to Doom. It brings the same feeling of loneliness, lurking around in the dark, checking every corner, hoping to find items and not to find monsters. The game further darkens the atmosphere by presenting how the player character currently feels, and by placing old documents and messages around the otherwise destroyed science facility.

I literally cannot express how much I hate the community of this game. Play it with friends (if you have any).

Even if you can't afford Left 4 Dead, I still wouldn't recommend this game. Obviously, this mod tried to be a cooperative zombie FPS that would require teamwork and be difficult, but I beg to differ. The entire difficulty of the game is trying to figure out what's going on, because the game offers no feedback whatsoever. The zombies never flinch and don't bleed, and not even the guns you carry have any kind of effects that indicate you're shooting, which is why you can never know if you hit a zombie or not. And it would have been nice if there were any animations in the game that didn't last 2 or 3 frames. By the way, there's no reloading. Shoot with your useless pistol a few times, and you'll be stuck with your even less helpful baseball bat, which apparently has a range of 1 pixel.
