The other reviews are a bit overly critical. The game is not finished and needs a lot of work, yes, but this is clearly stated on the store page.

The game appears to me to offer a very nice base upon which a very enjoyable experience can be build.

Giving it a thumbs up because I enjoyed my time with it. However, the overal experience of he game I would describe as "meh", it is very much mediocre.

When I started the game the first things I noticed was the audio design, I wasn't sure if it was bugged or by design, it seems to be by design. All audio excluding voices and radio music is agressively muted, this for me personally disconnects me from the game experience. When I am driving a car I want to hear the car and the carnage I unleash with it, not the radio with wisper-soft environmental audio.

This audio issues are presistent throughout the game in various forms, gameplay scenes are too often whisper quiet or completely dead. Imagine large shootouts with nothing but the gun sounds and barks of your enemies and player character to set the scene, put some music in to these scenes at least!

The story is, as the rest of the game, mediocre. It didn't make any impact on me and the characters do not get enough screen time to properly flush out their character. I already forgot who all the bad guys are, I encountered the bad guys from each faction maybe twice.

Mission structure is once again, mediocre. It lacks any long-term buildup to big showpieces. If the story reveals you are going to do a big heist, the very next mission after is said heist, no buildup, nothing. At least it had a train mission, and they never dissapoint.

At least they did try to make the side missions more interesting, each one starts with a unique piece of dialogue or cutscene, for a few ventures each mission is also unique (yet still identical in structure), Still, doing the exact same "steal truck take it to dropoff" 8x I still very much consider to be braindead filler and not worth of your time.

The game tries really hard to make the setting immersive, it is not. Its idea of immersive seems to be collectable audio logs spread as filler content around the gameworld.

Combat is shallow, you have normal enemies with various levels of health, tough enemies with armor and minibosses with even more health. With some rare exceptions all these enemies follow the same repetoire, rushy-melee-guy or shooty-shooting-guy.

Another masterpiece Playstation Studios title consistent in quality with what we have come to expect from new Playstation (temporary) exclusive titles.

The game does really well on all fronts, gameplay, visuals, audio, it is more or less an interactive Pixar movie (from 10-15 years ago).

I did a full playthrough of the game under Linux with the visuals set to the ultra default excluding anisotropic which I lowered to x4. I experienced none of the stability and performance issues other people are reporting, although Admittedly my rig is fairly high-end and not a good benchmark for performance on lesser systems.

Command and Conquer Remastered Collection is absolutely fantastic. This isn't just a cheap reskin of the old games, a ton of new content has been added in such as behind the scenes videos, remasted soundtracks, console missions and even a throwback to the old DOS installers.

The developers obviously cared about the community and worked closely together with them during development.

I highly recommend this game to Command and Conquer fans or anyone who has an interest in the RTS genre.

3 months in to 2020 and we already have a best game of the decade competitor. DOOM Eternal is solid, I highly recommend it.

Old school cool

Very decent RTS game, long and solid campaign, epic 40K story.

The recent Chaos DLC update made the campaign even more interesting with the new secondary battle objectives.

Going to give this the game the thumb up it deserves.

Currently stuck in the main story and have been waiting for a patch for over a week now in hope that the bugs I am encountering will be fixed.

I will grind the game another 50 hours if I have to to get around these bugs.

I highly recommend this game but I also recommend you to wait for a few months longer for the devs to fix some of the more serious issues people are encountering right now.

I can't wait to see what Warhorse Studios brings us in the feature.
