Heli Heroes is a generic on rails shoot 'em up. The controls are okay, the gameplay is boring, and there is no reason for it to exist. It's an extremely simple genre, so differentiating itself from the pack generally relies on execution and polish, rather than new game mechanics or concepts. Heli Heroes impressively fails to do both. It's an overall okay game, but the genre has many games that are radically better.

The Cat Games is an okay set of casual mini-games. One has you dodging and collecting rubber ducks. One has you clicking objects in order to dodge them. Another has you playing pool. They are fine, but they are overall pretty simple and mediocre. The seem more like free browser games as opposed to a full featured product. Far from the worst game, but not very good.

Immersion is an awful game that is essentially a tech demo/proof of concept. Gameplay is very basic, excruciatingly slow, and uninteresting. You just swim to treasure chests within the time limit, shooting 3 sharks along the way. Overall, an abysmal game that shouldn't be sold.

Cat on a Diet is a physics puzzle game where you attempt to collect all the cupcakes while landing the cat in the cookie jar. It plays a lot like a mobile game port, and isn't very unique or inventive. The puzzles are pretty decently designed, the gameplay itself is just not very interesting. It's not a bad game, just mediocre and generic.

R-COIL is a standard arcade shooter in almost every way, except for one. Shoot and thrust are the same button, requiring you to carefully balance between dodging shots and shooting. It's an enjoyable experience that has a good difficulty progression, but can occasionally feel unfair due to bad luck. On the flip side, good luck can help you out immensely, such as when I actually got a top 10 score in the game, despite being pretty bad at it. That isn't meant as a brag, just as a flaw of the game that both awful scores and great scores can be achieved, based very little on skill. Overall though, most arcade fans will enjoy the game despite its minor shortcomings.

ШП - ShP is a puzzle game based purely on windows forms. The puzzles themselves are both ridiculous and oddly fair. The solution is always available to you, you just have to find it. How you go about finding it is usually maddening and often feels impossible. When you get stuck, it is very tempting to look up the solution because in your mind you think there must be something wrong with the solution. But when you eventually give up and cheat, you realize that the solution was fair, you just weren't clever enough. That was my experience playing it, as well as multiple friends who tried it. Truly one of the hardest and most intricate puzzle games around. Highly recommended for people that think even hard puzzle games are too easy.

Tabletop Simulator is difficult to review because it is more of an engine than a game. If you don’t use the Steam Workshop, it’s terrible. It only includes some common and basic games, and those will get boring pretty fast. Luckily, the greatness of this game lies in its mod tools.

There are thousands of tabletop games that have been created and submitted to the Steam Workshop. If a game is at least a year or two old, it most likely already has a Steam Workshop version, if not multiple. The quality of the individual games will obviously vary wildly, but Tabletop Simulator is what allows this all to happen. This means that as long as you enjoy at least a handful of board games, you will enjoy Tabletop Simulator. You also get the opportunity to try out plenty of new games that you otherwise wouldn’t have, either due to the cost being too high or not being interested enough to gamble on a purchase. Even for people that prefer in-person board games, Tabletop Simulator is a great tool to try before you buy. A number of board game designers have even posted official versions of their games on the Steam Workshop to help advertise their game and get people playing.

Overall, Tabletop Simulator is a fantastic game engine for board game fans. It has wide ranging appeal thanks to its dedicated modding community, allowing people with different tastes to find games they will love. One of my favorite games on Steam with nearly endless replay value.

Painters Guild is a simple simulation game about managing a team of artists attempting to become a successful business. Initially, the concept is unique and interesting, but the gameplay drags the game down. It is extremely simple, to the point where strategy is almost nonexistent. There is the occasional decision you have to make, but ultimately it doesn't matter. You just keep making paintings, over and over, slowly making enough money to hire more painters. This loop repeats until you get bored of the game.

Running Ninja is a mediocre platformer that infinitely rotates through the same 4-5 levels. The levels themselves are pretty similar, often completed without needing to adapt your strategy at all. The platforming mechanics are average, but they end up being the games biggest highlight. Unfortunately, that only goes so far when the content runs out in 15 minutes.

Slime-san is a very polished platformer that has a huge amount of content. The platforming mechanics are fairly standard, aside from dashing.

Level design is open ended, allowing different ways to beat many levels, thanks to the different characters you can play as. It currently features 4 campaigns of varying length, numerous platforming challenges, as well as minigames, such as a DOOM clone. It all comes together into a fun experience that will give you hours of content.

Beating the game on normal difficulty is fairly straightforward, but getting all the trophies, playing through new game+, etc. will give you much more playtime if you enjoy the game enough to keep playing. Steam workshop support adds even more longevity as you can play custom levels thanks to the level editor. Overall, Slime-san is a fantastic platformer that has enough content to satisfy even the most hardcore fan.
