TLDR: The online is not something I recommend unless you have way to much money to just throw away. The single player was good until they screwed over basically the whole modding community. I can't recommend gta V.

Gta V is one of the top 5 best selling games of all time and it made about one billion dollars in its first three days. So it is an ok game and I like(ed) the single player because of all of the modability. But the online is honestly just a money generator and a bad one at that. They have dulled it down so it's just a grind where you can't realistically have fun unless you spend real money. It's just an excuse for micro transactions. But they still think that they don't make enough money so what they do is they ruin the single player so that they can force more people on to the multiplayer where they can make you spend even more money to have some fun. Their last move to ruin single player was to send a cease and desist to OpenIV which basically every mod is based on and makes them possible. This was obviously done only to send more people to the multiplayer.
