What's funny is, I think I have more fun talking about it on reddit than I do actually playing it right now. The community is great. You're right though and it's a shame the game is lacking the depth and direction it could have.

@Dark - it's not so much my views that have changed, it's SOE's direction for the game that has changed, and the fact they can't balance for toffee. I still think it's one of the best FPSs I've ever played and epic in scale - but nothing lasts forever and it's just been mismanaged post-launch (like every SOE MMO ever) to the point where I have just lost faith in the dev team

Yeah I've been keeping an eye on Firefall, but it doesn't really seem that massive in scope - not like Planetside 2 - Firefall seems more like a Global Agenda style game. Signed up anyway.
