Final Fantasy 13 series is the best of all FF games in my opinion.
As for this first game the story was good but you get bombarded by to much information right at the start just so it may be explained as you progress which i bet puts a lot of people off but besides that it's a typical save the World final fantasy story with a emotional but good feeling ending,
Gameplay is like all the others i would say, turn based but less than other FF games, still it's a gameplay i never truly enjoy, the Crystal/Skill tree was done by someone that hates people, seriously who the hell made that
thing? it's so slow to upgrade it becomes painful to watch
Graphics are ok for a early PS3 game ported to PC, some mods improve cinematics and fixing stuff so you will need those.
Overall FF-13 is a great series and worth buying, play it for the story and you will have a great time, play it for the gameplay and you could probably be playing something better in my opinion(turn base just makes me think i'm playing pokemon lol).

Amazing story with an even more amazing main character, gameplay is fantastic and it's very challenging to fight machines at ultra hard, good variety for weapons and outfits, as for cons i would have liked for different outcomes, no idea why have different dialog options when the result is the same only the dialog/script changes, but that's pretty much the only thing i wanted to be better the rest of the game i found it fantastic, i envy Playstation for having such great games but thankfully they are coming to PC.

Great game, gream co-op mode with easy join/leave system.

Probably the best, or top 3, Story RPG games i have ever seen.

Now that the game has lunch i can say it was a big improvement from the Alpha and Beta, so far amazing game, the combat is the best part of it for sure, as for story or end game it's to soon to know that.

10/10, This Tom Raider trilogy might be the best trilogy of games in this decade (2010-2020), they just don't fail.

Great game as expected from Paradox, but it has it's issues, many quality of life things are non existent or have been removed like= Notification window now is a spam hell and tooltips need an option menu i mean common all the other games have it wtf, more interactions with prisoners, etc.. i'm sure they will add it with patches but the question is why was it removed when CK2, EU4 .. have it.

Still great game, lots of fun, recommended, dlc and expansions will make it even better like usual so even bigger reason to buy it.

Good "sequel" to Academy, much shorter or maybe i just went to fast, i did remember the game so it was easy, not as good in story as Academy but better in gameplay, less costumizable, harder last boss fight.

Great gameplay, very nostalgic trip down memory lane, still holds up quite well when it comes to combat.
