A collection of mid gameplay seamlessly integrated into each other.
Easy to lose time in, immersive? Addictive?
Pros : Cute, ton of "bar goes up" etc dopamine hits.
Cons : Combat, Progression is hinged on waiting for "bar goes up" moments.
Combat is one of the weakest points.
Majority of the boss fights/refights are just "oh you hit me 5 times time to dissapear and spawn a bunch of dudes to kill" over and over and over.
Attacks that give you iframes either don't work, or don't give iframes, or ??? because sometimes your heavy attack will win over things and sometimes you'll take damage.
No information on weapons besides +/- attack/speed.
No choices on which weapon/upgrade to use besides luck of the drop.
Inconsistent visual language between modes and reused assets for traps can make for confusing gameplay.
Fun ran out around the 6 hour mark, now it's more of a frustrating "I need to complete this on principle" thing than a fun use of time.
