I am a Linux PC and Steam Deck user. When I bought the game, there was no mention of kernel-level anti-cheat. I was able to play the game on both my PC and Steam Deck, which both use Linux OS systems. If the publisher is allowed to implement kernel-level anti-cheat, which is a huge privacy concern on its own, after the game's release, then I should be able to refund the game. Why would you add this to a rally game anyway? Remove this abomination for people who don't care about online play and want a single-player experience. Make an option during installation to choose between SP or Online mode. Let the SP mode be free from this malware and playable on Linux. I paid my money to play the game! EA you are the worst company ever. This was my last purchase. I blocked you on the Steam store and manually ignored every game from you. You are a disgusting abomination.

Baldur’s Gate 3 does not deserve the praise it has received. I don’t understand where this overwhelming approval for the game comes from. The only positives are that Larian released a game without milking people for money with things like DLCs, loot boxes, or other ridiculous practices. And that’s it. I believe Baldur’s Gate 1 and 2 are much better games.

I also compared BG3 to Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous. The graphics in Pathfinder are far more atmospheric. The visuals in Baldur’s Gate 3 are unimpressive, with lifeless objects and locations, and the blur reminds me of the typical flaws of Unreal Engine 5. Nothing special. However, the biggest flaw of Baldur’s Gate 3 is the developer’s insistence on forcing nonsense in the form of DEI. In BG3, we can’t create a character as a man or woman—oh no. Instead, we get to choose body types like 1, 2, 3, or 4. We can also select pronouns, etc.

It’s insane that such a ridiculous concept even exists and that there are idiots who believe in it and include it in a game for sale. Baldur’s Gate 3 is a totally woke game. Our party is not the typical D&D adventure you remember from the ’90s. Here, all the warriors are replaced by warrior women—big, ugly ones. Meanwhile, the men are just weaklings or gay.

In general, aside from Shadowheart, none of the characters are likable. I find Astarion particularly annoying, constantly calling me ‘darling’ in his effeminate voice. In real life, he’d get punched in the face for that. The game is disgustingly perverse, filled with sexual tension and homosexual sex. Meanwhile, the story and dialogues leave much to be desired. I don’t know who likes this, but it’s definitely not me. That’s why I’m giving it a thumbs down and won’t buy anything from Larian again because they’re pushing this nonsense. I don’t want DEI in games!

Baldur's Gate 3 can’t hold a candle to Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous. Pathfinder offers a much more complex story, with actual choices in great numbers that drastically change how the game unfolds. It also provides far more characters who can join your party. The maturity of the dialogues and storyline completely outclasses BG3. Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous is filled with hidden storylines that are intriguing and can be interconnected. Its scale and creativity completely overshadow BG3. Divinity: Original Sin 2 is also a much better game.
