As a Person who's been playing DBD Since the release of Clown and Generally having a heavy whaft of experience in DBD, I do have to say if you plan on purchasing this game


Dead By Daylight is a very frustrating game heading on a downward spiral That's going to leave survivor and killer in extremely unfun and uninteresting positions, Both sides will have perks that are generally fair and engaging, but then some are extremely egregious, but then come the ones that geniunely change the playing field albeit some being stronger than others, but anytime these perks that are SLIGHTLY better than the ones nobody uses.

BHVR has shown they will not hesitate to nerf any thing into the ground than do simple or minor tweaks, as evidently proved by Dead Hards second nerf + Pain Resonance.

Pain Resonance was strong due to its spamability, a simple solution could have been to make the scourge hook move to a different position far from the hooked survivor, then its strength would pivot and not be as strong as it is now.

Dead Hard had a case of not having a specific requirement to be met for it to be useable and its strength being something that required skill and knowing of frame perfect timing, not many knew this, but if you were skilled enough with dead hard, you could press E and put the killer in a position of swing and trigger endurance or get stunned on the pallet as the left click wouldn't anything, if it was poorly timed yes tapping left click would down them, but if it was frame perfect? fat chance.

It was rare to see, but it could be beyond damaging.

The community however, good lord the community, I've had a lot of personal experiences, DBD's Community is toxic, but again this is nothing new with games, every community has'em but it makes LOL's community look tame, people getting mad over a literal party game.

Homophobia, Racism, Xenophobia, Harrassment, Death Threats, stalking and so much more are heavily present in this community, because unfortunately as people don't want to admit it, half this community is full of people with fragile ego's and it shows.

People like this make this community unwelcoming, sheltered and makes the devs baby them, which furthers spreads negativity as its caused the us vs them mentality of the community to be at its strongest its ever been, The Toxicity has had the effect of making this community extremely sensitive and quick to throw insults in any form of reasonable discussion.
