I hope this game keeps improving. In it's current state I got bored fast. You might be going "Why recommend?" Because I think it has alot of potential and the dev quickly seems to respond to feedback. Plus..it's free. I'm really excited to see where this game goes. But maybe let it cook a bit..or not...because again it's free.

I'm sure there's a great story there. But it's hidden behind absurdly complicated and tedious gameplay.

But the thing that kills this game for me is that they focused too much on realism they neglected to make the game fun.

It's very realistic. You'll get infection 20 minutes into the jungle and die. You can prevent it, but you'll have to scour the jungle for this ONE SPECIFIC plant that helps it.

It's not hard..it's not difficult. It's just..boring and tedious.

I think if it had auto save or some better saving system I could recommend. But with this scope of realism it just makes it not fun.

Edit: Removed complaint about multiplayer as I'm 99% certain it was my VPN. Can't blame them for that.

It's not a bad game. It's your standard farming sim. But it's also lacking in alot of areas. Also one of the biggest things they advertised in the kickstarter, the underwater component..is just..boring. It's just spamming the X button and clearing Trash. Over and over and over and over.

Nothing makes this worse than games like Stardew Valley or any other farming sim. But nothing really makes it better either.

Meh. Decent concept but execution is a little off. Feels super repetitive even for this style of game. And quick to get that point too. Sure it's only 5 bucks, but it's just...bleh. Needs fleshing out and more variety in combat levels. This should be a free browser game. Not something you pay for.

Can get a little visually cluttered at times (though I think that's the point?) but great game. I feel some of the bosses are a bit bullet spongey, but nothing I would say is bad.

The visuals are cute, pretty and the mechanics and gameplay is solid. I haven't even had a chance to play multiplayer either so it will likely only get better.

I will happily change this to a recommended when they fix bugs and server issues. But until then it's a wait to buy game or get it on sale.

I'm sad. This is a good game, but it strips everything that made the first game fun. It's just now a generic Rougelike. The team building is gone. The collecting items is gone. Just...I'm sure others enjoy it for these aspects, but it removes all the fun of Darkest Dungeon and just seems to be riding on the hype of roguelikes.

Still has the wonderful art and voice acting and music and all that. But the gameplay feels like a massive step backwards.

Great graphics and good design. But it becomes a slog of just repetitive over repetitive gameplay as it sends an unbeatable hoard your way. The only solution to do the same level OVER AND OVER AND OVER to level up. They need to tone down the grind. It's not fun.

This is another one I wish they had a indifferent or some other option. I do not exactly hate this game, but I cannot recommend it either. It's very pretty, has decent mechanics, but after an hour I was just sitting around waiting for stuff. The game even seems to be aware of this as they mention it in the story. I was not under any risk of losing the game or anything. Just...waiting. Even on it's fastest speed I spent so much time just waiting. Zero danger, zero challenge, just waiting. I guess if they are going for that realistic approach they got it right. But I'd prefer it have something changed so that I'm not sitting around with nothing to do.
