The graphics and mood of the game are really good. Each part of the game adds something slightly different to keep you on your toes.
As you get yourself familiar with the forest and it's enemies, it gets slightly easier but you never know when something might surprise you.

Main mechanic of the game is to scout the woods. You always know when your main target is near, but there are other dangers too. Gameplay is slightly slow paced, but when action happens, it happens well.

There are also plenty of hidden things to scout for. Really fun and intense experience. I recommend that everyone who likes a thrilling experience to at least try this out :)

Tried it out, raged a little bit and murdered few cat things. A good and fun IWBTG fangame finally out somewhere where everyone can see it!
And I will also make sure to fully finish this.

Graphics are simple and good. Level design is spot on with possible skips by using the items often available. Bosses are just a lot of fun if a bit too easy. Music is good!
If you're a gaming masochist and wont mind dying a lot, this game is for you!

Cooking Witch is a fun small game that'll keep you entertained for an hour or two. The upgrades are quite easy to get and once you have all of them, it's easy to keep the game up and going forever.

Short version:
So far the best game I've played in years. And I play a lot. 4,5/5
Streamed it for my small audience from start to end in one sitting and almost shed tears in the end.

Long version:
The graphics are your normal topview 2D but the color scheme and the feel of each area is unique and really well thought.

The music and ambience is outstanding and gets you immersed to the game easily.

Storyline without spoilers: The story pulls you in from almost the very beginning, you cant help but to feel for all the characters, not to mention you only have one shot at it! I haven't felt any game do this to me before.

Gameplay: At first it's like your usual collect items, combine items, use items. (medium spoiler here, you have been warned:) The unique way of having to go through your computer directories was interesting. But dont go to the actual game directory to check at the image files... you'll find spoilers for almost every single puzzle and plotpart of the game :P Turns out all images from the game are in easy to see editable format.
There is a little bit of trouble with using it though, hence 4,5/5 instead of 5/5. For casual gamers it might be difficult to get through certain parts of the game, for me it was quite easy. I was mostly annoyed that (big spoilers here, you have been warned:) it made my background image disappear. I had a fun slideshow there that got completely decimated and I had to rebuild it. Also thanks to the game mechanics, it made streaming the game super difficult as getting the whole thing to the streamscreen near the end was not easy.

The only negative I found from this game was how short it felt. Well worth it's cost and more! But I still wish I'd have more to play. I'll just have to drown myself in the amazing game music I guess!

All in all, this game pulls you in and doesn't let you go easily, even though it clearly reminds you to take a break by itself sometimes. Even now I feel like playing it again. (Huge last spoiler, you have been warned:)If you do start it again, some things are a bit different. I dont know how much, but apparently there might be a new game+

The game is way too easy even when you do the bosses on hard.

I've beaten the game 100 % getting everything I could!

--General

Graphics are the usual type made half 3D. Sadly bosses lack any sort of animation, which is fixed by adding interesting attacks (lasers seem to be quite popular!)

Gameplay is simple and addicting. You have few skills to use, but main fighting goes by simply walking into the enemies to cause damage. Leveling up really feels like you get a lot stronger, and though upgrading your gear is slightly grindy, it's still decently fast and with this fighting style it's also a bit of fun.

Music.. Cant say much about it, it was good enough for me and my friend to pretty much sing along with it, by reading the texts aloud in the music rhytm :)

Story in the game is good and involving, nothing epic, on the contrary it could be the story of an average family, with some monsters and magic mixed up with, making it more believable and much better than your usual plotlines. And the ending.. I loved it! It breaks the usual ending format slightly as well with a twist.

Also checking out the Dev-room was a nice extra to see inside the effort put into making the game.

--Negatives

On the other side, the bosses lacked animation and at some points that felt out of place compared to the rest of the feel in the game. I guess bosses need to look different after all. Even though the bossfights were fun and all, if they had atleast moved a few pixels up and down hovering it would've been better in my opinion, to make them look alive instead of paintings.
Developers did explain the reason for this in the Dev-room.

The game was also really easy most of the time, while the bosses were challenging on hardmode and seemed to require some extra care. If only the normal enemies midgame onwards would've required slightly more to beat as well.
Now I know this game must've been hard for some people, but since the bosses had hardmode, I would've loved to play hardmode even outside bossfights.

--Overall

I loved every moment of this game and definetly would recommend it to other people! It's also free so even if you dont know the genre this is a good game to try get in on!

For the developers: Good job! I will eagerly wait and hope for more games from you!

Fun game with a lot of wasted potential. Worth playing if you like zelda-style games and if you like the gaming history.

Worth the money! Unique experience especially meant for people who want to explore and for those who like stories.

The best humoristic puzzle type fps i've ever played since Portal 1.

Very cute and a great game with wondefully used basic graphics. A must buy for any anime/japanese fan. And why not everyone else as well.
