It was four years ago I wrote my first review for this game. After launch and experiencing only a few hours of what the game had, and very little at that, it left me heartbroken. I had so much hope for this game and what it had the potential to be that when I saw what we were all presented I couldn't help but scream, and so did thousands of others it looked like. With no other choice at the time i simply put the game out of my mind and tried to move on, like a bad breakup it was best to just try and get some distance.

Hello Games had different plans tho, instead of taking the money and running like so many other developers had in the past and everyone expected them to do. But they didn't instead they rolled up their sleeves and got to work, Sean was ready for what needed to be done and did it even when everyone had already given up on him and NMS. Year after year this game improved on itself tenfold what we have today is happily what I expected NMS to be all along. Finally things that were once just teased in trailers are actually real in the game

NMS may have had the title for biggest lies in video gaming ever but I can say to you now that is far from the case, and my faith and hope for the future of this game is fully restored. I urge everyone who owns this game who set it aside for years like i did to try it again. You'll be pleasantly surprised and might actually have the fun you expected at release, and to all those who saw the reviews and said screw that sinkhole I urge you to buy the game today. Hello Games is deserving of success and should be a figure head in making the games people wanted even if it was a lie at the start.
