Early Access Review
They changed the game for the worse and haven't even updated the steam page to show it.
"You can enjoy various 2vs2 PvP Modes queued up by a smart, automated match-making system."
  • The PvP is now 3v3, usually with 2 real players and 1 bot per side.
  • The Meta seems to be focus-killing the bot as actual players are too difficult unless you're ganking them.
  • Match-making system is not smart, rank seems to not matter as new players will get smashed by other players who've bought into the p2w aspect and/or have way more experience in the game.
"Or, you can embark upon a larger-than-life, raid style, quest driven battle system against big, bad boss monsters."
Raids is a one boss a day grind, different boss every day. There are no quests, those were removed.
"Fight important enemies in the KurtzPel universe and discover the story of KurtzPel by interacting with Hero NPCs."
This entire quote is N/A because all that CONTENT was REMOVED and NO LONGER EXISTS.
The 'NPC Affinity System' doesn't exist either, there are almost no NPC's in the game unless youre doing 'RANKED' pvp, or the bosses.

In the end, Kurtzpel only has the costume and character customization to keep any players($10 per customization after initial). The pvp is lacking as the game more often than not puts bots in the queue to fill the space for missing players. The raids are fun at first but you'll get tired of fighting the same one all day, loot is VERY rare as well, good luck getting a single accessory piece in a day of playing.

If you Played any of the original Assassins Creed games and liked those, don't buy this game.

Positives:
Large Map

Negatives:
cities appear copy and paste, cannot enter many buildings. Exploring isn't as enjoyable as other games in the series.

RPG level up system slows down main story progression while sidequests are visibly formulaic and unrewarding.
Microtransactions for extra xp/money. It feels as if they made leveling up slow just so that they could charge you for you lack of interest in grinding.
Character doesn't have much of a personality.

Its a fun gag for showing friends. I enjoyed slapping the workers asses and getting a resounded 'smack' sound in return. I used the HTC VIVE and would suggest a better graphics headset for this, as its difficult to see crystal clearly sometimes. Models are all the same body type, no variation except for some boob and bust size differences, not very noticeable however. It only has about 2 hours worth of content, which is danger ground if you're looking for a refund.

Matchmaking times are 2+ minutes long.
Lobby contains no more than 30 players a game.
Menu can be confusing.
In-game currency's use was removed, real cash only buys things.

I love running out and giving worse players the true R6 Siege experience!
