**Early Impression Review**

This is a game I wish I could recommend to the world, as conceptually this is probably the most fleshed out iteration I've yet seen. HOWEVER

Performance is what I would say sub par, i'm running a R5 5600X with a Rx 7900XT, with 32 Gigs of ram. It isn't top shelf hardware mind you, but entirely sufficient to play most AAA games; This game gives me chop and stutter that i haven't seen since the PC release of Forza Motorsports and Horizon 3.

Build wise: VERY CONFUSING. I played through the basic tutorial on building, It is a VERY BASIC tutorial, adding parts to a mostly already assembled airplane model, which is fine, however as far as I played there wasn't any guidance for building a plane from scratch, and the process is not intuitive , and combined with the stutters and small hitches makes for a very frustrating process.

Why can you not filter by aircraft "frame" types? For context you can have a modern jet styled cockpits, to flying boat cockpits, to WW2 Fighter and bomber styled cockpits, each of which have other corresponding fuselage pieces. Without there being a way to filter through these 'types' it becomes a matter of guess and check, because only sometimes is a frame type mentioned in the description of the part.

Adding on to the above mentioned issue, the lighting in the workshop effects the icons on the item selector, at times making it difficult to differentiate parts from one another
Trying to align pieces that dont automatically snap into place can sometimes be frustrating, is there the "axis movement arrow" tool? looked through the UI and found nothing matching.

I may be wrong about some of the above, but if it's there it is not intuitive. And if some of my gripes are covered in a tutorial it is the performance issues that made me not want to continue with the early missions.

I want to love this game, and I suspect it is a game that very rapidly improve, reading through some of the other reviews they mention the OG KSP dev being on this team, and there is likely to be other incredibly talented team members. I hope to check back in 6 months and see a massive improvement, but as of right now this is not a product that i can recommend people spending their money on

Literally unplayable, can play for about 3 minutes before I'm kicked for something called 'AutoIT', I play games regularly with the same anticheat and have never had a problem with it until now. 0/10

I don't typically write reviews for games, but this game is one you should definitely check out, the atmosphere, the constant sense of impending doom you get, the thinking of "Should I send the scout to this last outpost or get them safely home". Very rarely has a video game, let alone a city builder that to me looked gimmicky had me sit down for 8 hours straight obsessing over it.

Overall: Get this game if you've ever played a city builder and wanted to cry
