I would not recommend this game unless you have top of the line modern hardware. The game is an unoptimized mess even on low settings. I know other players were experiencing lag and frame stuttering in big cities, but I constantly get less than 30 fps on low settings and I have modern hardware.

My advice, play Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen

I left a bad review of payday 3, so I think it's only fair that I leave a review for a product that I actually enjoy. Here are some things that this game does that Payday 3 doesn't.
-Diverse build customization
-Extremely robust progression and "prestige" system
-LARGE character roster
-Easy to understand weapon attachment system
-OFFLINE MODE
-Easy matchmaking

One of the key things that I like about this game is that if I want to run around looking like a demented version of Ronald McDonald, I can do that! If I want to run around with a gun with more attachments than I know what to do with, then I can do that. If I want to start a game, then get my friend to join, then I can do that. If I simply want to play by myself and do some solo missions or play with bots, I can do that without having to wait AT ALL! Payday 3 takes these all for granted. This game takes these small things seriously.

I can't stress enough how disappointed I am in this game. I had tons of fun playing Payday 2 even on offline mode. But there is no offline mode in this game. You still have to be online in order to play solo. I can't even find a game for SOLO mode. This is beyond ridiculous. The fans of this game deserve way better than what we got. As someone who played Cyberpunk 2077 at launch, I can say that at LEAST that game launched in a playable state. You literally can't play this game.

Early Access Review
This game is insanely fun! Great fast-paced action mixed with a great art style and a unique take on weapon mods/attachments and skill upgrades definitely makes this one of my top boomer shooters of all time. Can't wait to see what the multiplayer brings to the table. Just saying, my leg easily got 90% of the kills.

Pros:
-Great with friends
-Great as an adventure/survival game
-Diverse levels
-Automation makes raft management a breeze

Mid:
-Progression needs major work. Endgame items given upon completion of story
-Parkour for puzzles is frustrating and time consuming
-Requires a guide at some points

Cons:
-Story needs major work. Most of the story is told through letters despite NPCs now being in the game. Not enough story told through level design.
-Bland gameplay after story is complete
-Higher rarity resources like titanium are next to impossible to find.
-Guide needed for building larger-scale rafts
-Little diversity for hostile enemies
-Little incentive for trading fish with the merchant
-Barely noticeable upgrade when crafting weapons or tools of higher material rarity (aside from durability)
-Pacing needs work. Too much time spent having to grind for resources
