Considering they veered off towards an RPG-esque path for this game, they sure did a damn good job.

Story is fantastic, Bayek is very well written, and the graphics are spectacular to this day.

I ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ adore the atmosphere in this game.

Yes, there's bugs. Yes, there's crashes. Yet when it works, it's damn-right terrifying and one of the most immersive games I've played, especially in terms of environment. Let it get a few more major updates to fix the crashes and slowdowns, and it'll be perfect.

P.S. You need a beefy rig to run this. If you've been eyeing up that 3D Cache Ryzen chip, just do it. Seriously shines running this game. My 5700X3D is the saving grace when paired with an RTX 3070 on this game, it's getting ragged more than a mattress model.

One of the most hollow and infuriating yet fun games I've played. It's like a toxic relationship.

In the end, it's not worth it. Don't bother.

Unfortunately, this is the closest we'll get to reliving our childhood nostalgia of playing Halo 3 and Reach with the boys, grinding for that beautiful MARK-V helmet.

Doesn't feel the same, but the husk of our memories is still there.
