-> well at least it is coming pretty accurate up to real swordfighting. they added the perfect counter button, so all you have to do is, time your blocks perfectly and choose the correct weapons. The riposte shows almost perfectly realistic counter attacks (motion capped animations) which is actually nice and makes good sense
overall i would say that the combat does not require a lot of skill from the player itself, but from the ingame character for sure.
