Nights into 3 hours of gameplay

The game is pretty fun, the visuals are colourful and the music has a few hits, all trademark qualities of a Sonic Team game. Additionally the game is also short, also a Sonic Team trademark.
Unfortunately the game isn't very replayable or particularly challenging as there is no obstacles in your way other than your own knowledge of the stage and a lack of arcady control mastery.

Good game, not Smash Bros

Honestly a good simple game with it's biggest detractors being a mediocre art style and relative lack of options compare to a certain other platform fighter...
I think it's great fun with friends and for any Smash fan it'll take nothing to get used to this. Hell you are given that games best recovery with every character for free.

Good game, Awesome platformer
3 great play styles
2 engaging stories
1 adorably frustrating distraction

Sonic Adventure 2 in my opinion is one awesome game criticised far more than it deserves.
The game focuses on 3 well developed and executed gameplay styles and in each one the focus remains to beat the stage as fast as you can, having killed as many enemies as you can while being as stylish and smooth as you can. However the balance for each of these factors changes depending on the style.
For instance in Sonic (&Shadow) stages all 3 factors are relatively equally important as opposed to Knuckles (&Rouge) stages which reward quick stage traversal above all else.

I believe the game only begins to deteriorate in quality with the final stages for Knuckles (&Rouge) as well as the bonus missions for them which require less patience and more googling.

The game overall is highly skill based, very replayable and has a large amount of content for people of all platforming interests. Additionally it includes an adorable Chao garden for those who like wittle squishy cweatures that require hours of grinding.

(I don't recommend the 100% Journey if you aren't patient with those aforementioned little creatures.)

Great game all around.
Gameplay : fun and replayable
Music : stellar
Visuals : gloriously 16-bit.
Unfortunately the game is equally held back by the past as it is made the better for it, with another iteration of blatant nostalgia pandering. The game truly peaks every time it gets the break from nostalgia shackles.

Hyperdimension nep nep is a pretty mediocre-ok game. Think of this game as a visual novel with rpg combat instead of an rpg with visual novel story telling.
Graphics: Pretty mediocre.
Story: Boring.
Combat: Great
Characters: Lovable
Replayabilty: Lots of stuff to do.
But I did finish it, and I did end up having fun. I would recommend the game on sale.

It's fast, It's thrilling, It's colour's are bleak and muted, It's the modern shooter but with a Platinum Twist. I would call this a third person Doom on gameplay alone, except you probably aren't even scratching the surface on your first time around. Not exceptional but fun non the less!

This is the game you can give to someone who never played games, as well as a fun experience for anyone who still hasn't gotten around to this classic. It's short, sweet and with enough Glados to make anyone smile. It's a Joy to casually speedrun and has a few cool Easter eggs too. Buy it with Portal 2, as this is just the appetizer!

A first person shooter that get's to the point. You Shoot, you punch, you skip the story and enjoy the gameplay. Not Short enough to replay on a dime unfortunately, but not long enough for a marathon. It is still however very replayable with lot's of Easter Eggs and references to classic Doom as well as adorable figures of the Doom Guy scattered around the depths of hell. With Doom eternal coming out and this game being cheaper then ever on sales, don't miss out!
