This game is bad. My friends are better at it than i am, because i am unable to understand how the math works. happy mask is the best item, but you really dont find enough of them to make the runs easier. I have yet to beat mythrix on drizzle, honestly it's overall too difficult. 2/5 would not recommend.

This game is a lot of fun if you can get it to work... Sadly, that isn't something you really have a say in. The game is poorly optimized, and the developers of the game have clearly shown they are uninterested in making improvements to the game that don't help their bottom line. The game barely runs on high end machines, and crashes or bugs out on a regular basis. Take this from someone that has over 300+ hours with the game it isn't worth it, and recently I started looking for other games in the same genre to scratch this itch.

I got this game for less than $10.00 and I still don't think it was worth the frustration of dealing with crashes and bugs every time I start the game. I would absolutely not recommend this game at it's normal price of $49.99 and this is excluding the DLCs. That's the problem with these developers, they only look for ways to make money, unlike other companies like the ones behind No Man's Sky. Love them or hate them, they kept updating the game for free with bug fixes and free content updates to show their love for their game. Studio Wildcard on the other hand, releases paid DLC, and a totally different game (which absolutely bombed) just to make a quick buck.

Pleases, don't buy this game! Don't support their greed and awful practices. If they even showed the desire to improve their own game, I'd say go for it. At this point however, I don't see anything changing, and all you are going to get is frustration and more paid DLC. STAY AWAY FROM THIS GAME!

So let's start simple for those who are just going to glimpse at this review. Yes, this is a good game and I highly recommend getting it, especially if you can get a few of your friends to buy it as well! While the online community is very friends, the amount of fun you can have with this game goes up exponentially when you get to enjoy it with friends!

Okay, now for my thoughts about the game. As someone that gets bored really quickly, this game does a fantastic job of mixing things up enough to keep things interesting. I would compare this game to Left 4 Dead. Just like in L4D, some aspects of the level changed depending on your play though thanks to clever AI. So even the same level might have to be done in a different way the second time around. The way you can buy and sell guns really makes money worth something, and on top of that, you need to spend some money to unlock assets for making levels easier such as extra ammo or health. Every mission has many ways of completing it, and although some might argue one is better than the other. Most missions have at least two ways for completion; loud, or silent. I highly recommend you try out both on each level as some missions are radically different depending on how you do them.

Now, here is the issue I’m having with this game! If I had to rate the game from 1 - 10, I would probably put it around 7. This probably sounds low for a game I spoke so highly of, but there is a reason for that. The game itself is well done and a lot of fun to play, with flushed out mechanics and a great online community. With that being said, I’ve seen betas with less game breaking bugs! This game has a few bugs, but only one of there is really game breaking so with hope (and an update) it will be fixed soon! For those interesting, the game has a hard time keeping up with four players, so very often you will see your friend interacting with an object on the other side of the level as they walk through walls to get there. This is call de-sync, and it happens when the game host is trying to catch all of the other players to his game. This is especially a problem if you are trying to stealth a level and suddenly a guard walks through a wall and notices you, sometime resulting in you losing the level.

So before I lose you, good game with one huge game breaking bug, that’s basically it really. If you can get over the frustration of having to restart a level every so often, you should be good. I would defiantly wait for a sale as even $20.00 is a little much. Without the bug, I’d happily shell full retail price for this game, but until then… thank goodness for steam sales!
