A great game! However, after the recent update where the new game launcher was introduced, Xcom 2 won't launch. DO NOT BUY THE GAME RIGHT NOW, YOU'LL HAVE TREMENDOUS PAIN LAUNCHING IT! Wait till developers fix it. Or just pirate, since it's been a week and no-one cares. :/

Shiiiiiiie, just replayed the game 2nd time in 3 years and the campaign is actually better then I remember. Is a very good game. Aside from Titanfall 2, maybe the best COD since BO 2 and until MW. Noice :P

This is straight up the best detective game ever, and here's why:
(this review is still being written, I mean damn I am bad at putting words together)

Obra Dinn's Return, made by Lucas Pope (Creator of "Papers, Please") is a game about uncovering the fate of a ship that mysteriously came back to port after missing for 4 years, without a soul o board. So naturally you - the Insurance company man, have to figure out what happened. For this you are given a book with loads of information about the journey and a watch which let's you see the last moment of any person's death. You know, the regular stuff. The end goal is to establish the fates of all 60 people on board. You have to match their names with sketch drawings etc.

The "Death sequences" are presented via 3D paintings surrounding the event if you will. So you look around for clues and make your asumptions. I'll stop explaining thigs here, because you can figure all that just from looking at the trailer.
What really sets this game apart though, is the magnificent attention to detail by the creator. Lucas Pope took 4 years or so creating this, and I believe that a big chunk of this wa due to thinking about things like: "Well there should this character's hand be in this scene". This might be not be obvius at first, but the more you play, the more you'll see how brilliant is the gamedesign at hand here.

You literally have to use... everything to figure out stuff, and that's the beauty of it. It's s refreshing to play a game that actually requires you to think and doesn't hold your hand. Lemme give you my highlights, there's minor... deduction spoilers, but spoilers nontheless, so... eh: I figured people thanks to what shoes they was wearing, their accent, Google, the Book you are given itself (And you actually have to use EVERY SINGLE PAGE, it's essential), there people are standing, how are they stading, whom are they standing with, uniforms, personal belongings etc.
It gives you so much joy when you finally figure out that guy you saw in 15 memories prior, but thanks to new clues was able to understand who exactly he is. Feels nice :)

Only sad thing is - you can only complete this game once. And I beg you, the reader, to not look for answers online, because you'll never be able to live through this experience again.

I spent only some hours on board of this ship, but I feel like I knew all those people aboard better then themselves, and It will take a long time for me to forget this story. It's been one of the best experiences I had this year, and I can easily recommend it to anyone.
