Terrible game if you're not into survival games. Ok game if you're into survival games. That simple really. I don't like survival games and bought it to play with my friend because he said it's awesome. The top down gameplay of it is kind of a turn off for me. The graphics are cool if you're into that kind of art style.

Elex is an extremely solid RPG.... If you give it the chance. Combat is not the strongsuit of Elex but it never has been for any of PB's games. The world building, dialogue, and interactions within quests are stellar and are what makes Elex a solid title in my opinion. Overall I recommend this game once it goes on sale. Give it around 10 hours and decide what you think of the game. The beginning could have been better but it does make sense as to why it's so hard in the beginning because your character is stripped of his powers and given nothing but crappy clothes and an even crappier weapon. The RPG aspects are what make this game great. Not the action aspects. I thoroughly enjoy playing Elex and hope you find the same enjoyment out of it as I do.

Edit: Also the game has gotten much better since release and many of the bugs and issues have been addressed.

Bad game, The Forest is better.

Too expensive, needs some balancing changes. Worth buying when it is on sale and a decent game overall
