This game is like the skeleton of all previous games. It's bare and skinny and doesn't have much of a punch. It's clearly geared towards esports. It's not an RTS anymore, just a glorified MOBA. Base building, defense, customization, long cinematic campaigns? Not here. We don't care for another MOBA ripoff, COH2 was already bad not DOW3 is down too. They used to be the best of their kind...now not so much. It's a shame really. Previous installments were much more complex. This is close to casual mobile gaming. Shame on you Relic.

Let me stress that the game ain't all that bad. The idea and the gameplay of this title is pretty fun. In theory.

The execution is less then stellar though as is the support, which is non existant for the most part. The main problems in this game is of a technical sort. The most annoying one is the lag at the endgame which ruins pretty much the whole experience. The second real issue is that the balance/moneymaking is just wrong in this game. It's really hard to make money and to keep your city nice and modern and if you do manage to make money you can't really do anything else.

A shame really as it could have been a real rough gem. Now it's just a sad ugly looking rock.

A fun 'new' old school point and click adventure game with a cool levelheaded female protagonist. I had a fun time with this game. The puzzles are nice and so is the voice acting. The only con is that it's a bit short. I'd love to see more of Kathy in detective adventures in the future! Recommended!

Great 'adventure' story game set in an around a high school. Nice characters, music that complements the atmosphere and nice plottwists. If you play this game, just go with the flow and see where your choices might take you!

Grand Ages: Medieval could have been interesting but sadly it is nothing more then a mediocre and bland trading game.

The game feels a bit like Patrician, mixed with a bit of 'the Guild' and Industry giant games but with a few more side activities like founding new towns ( but have no control over it aside from choosing a few buildings ) and a bit of simplistic warfare. All the elements are pretty basic and the variety of goods traded are few and bland. The only thing you are doing in this game is setting up trade routes and simple trade alliances with the occasional boring battle over which you have no control whatsoever.

This could have been an awesome game of medieval town and business development with intricate production chains and in depth trading, but sadly it is not. If they had kept the Grand Ages city building style or made a more in depth medieval business simulator like the Guild or even Tropico style it would have been a bestseller. Now it's a game that does neither of the elements that made the other games enjoyable very well. If you want a good enjoyable medieval styled game you'd better play Patrician, Knights of Honor, Medieval Total War, Cursader Kings 2 or the Guild.

I can recommend this game only for people who want to play a basic trading game and are bored with all the older games. In my opinion all the other older medieval ( trading ) games are better in every way. This is much too bland and not worth the full price. This game should be priced more like simple Indie-games in the 10-20 euro/dollar range. I got it cheap, but if you pay the full price you'd better refund this...this is not worth the price. Even most indie games are better and worth more then this game.

Huge disappointment and a loss for those who want to immerse themselves into medieval trading and building. Maybe this game will be better in the future, but I doubt it.

The little changes the developers made since their previous titles are hardly worth it. It's still the same old game. It was ok in 2011, but now it's just a reanimated corpse of a game that died a horrible death due to a heriditary disease. While it was not 'bad' game per se, it feels bland and the cheap work of a non talented programmer and designer. Sadly it never got close to the fun the old simcity games offered. I dare to say that even the latest simcity 2013, which was a smallsized antfarm failure, is a better developed and thought out game then this.

This game should be marketed for the 10-15 bucks budget category. It might be worth to wait for the Cities: skylines from Paradox.

It's gameplay is pretty solid, but it's not as great as everyone makes it out to be. Prepare to be decieved!

A few negatives:
- no fluff whatsover. It's bland and all your choices feel emotionless and uneventful.
- What are all these factions? What am i fighting for? You are never told.
( Surely not survival...since i'm already the best lifeform on the planet after a few turns. )
- no explanations, backgrounds, emotion of feels in this 'bland' game. Where are the movies? The sense of progression, the feeling of victory when you build a gigantic wonder?
- Winning gives no feeling of victory. What happens when you win? They never show you.
- It's more suited to competitive multiplay where everything is based on making emotionless strategic moves just to win and defeat your opponent. Nothing else. It lacks SinglePlay gratification and therefore replayability!
- You must wait for DLC to have the complete feel.

This games leaves you guessing all the time. It offers no real closure or intelligent gratification apart from a few short tense moments. Do I recommed this game? Yes, it keeps you busy for a while and most of the mechanics are solid and a small bit of fun if you miss strategic/turn based games. But it's nowhere near all the other Civs in completness or gratification!! Be warned and do not trust the high ratings...

One of my favorite classic games ever! This relatively unknown game from the dark ages of PC gaming was way ahead of its time. This game is awesome for its customization options, free open world roaming, character skills, different ways to solve quests, histoical + fantasy setting, replayability and good atmosphere overall.

Word of warning, when you play this game, do not be alarmed by the outdated graphics or it's oldschool difficulty setting. If you give it an hour and get the feeling of what you need to do you will love it and keep it in your list of game classics, just like I did al those years ago.

Be prepared for a dark and gruesome journey into medieval Germany. It's not for the fainthearted, for you will not leave it unscathed. Don't be afraid to die.. often.

If you love old school turnbased-RPG's like Fallout or the immersive worlds of Baldur's Gate I & II then you are in for a treat! Divinity Original Sin can be considered to be the 'revival' of the genre that once ruled PC gaming. Divinity: OS is not without it's flaws however and new 'style' players who don't like reading or too much tactical thinking can have a real hard time in this game, so it's not for everyone. Don't expect an easy ride, because you'll get virtually no help to get you started in this colorful and witty world.

One of the major flaws of the game is that the NPC characters can be considered a bit bland and there is no endless (but fascinating) inter-character dialogue or destiny-changing choices, but the cleverness of the game itself is good enough to overlook those facts.

If you manage to persevere and conquer the first hurdles, you'll see the cleverness that is Divinity: OS! Thank you Larian from Belgium for still believing in non-mainstream games!

A must play of the year for every 'Hardcore' RPG fan! 8.25/10

If you like strategy games, you'll like this! Massive battlefields with a massive amount of players. While it is not as good as World in Conflict ( one of their earlier titles ) it still is a good quality game. Fair word of warning though, they game itself is more of the 'simulation' kind then your average strategy title. All weapons and vehicles are accurate reproductions of real Cold War era weaponry and not neccesary effective against all the enemy throws at you. The most important part of the game is good understanding of what the weapons and vehicles capabilities are. If you are new to the series, be prepared to lose ....
