What can I say? This was just good. Tbf I liked the Japanese setting more, but it was still very enjoyable. Loved every bit of it.

Enjoyable, but not as good as the first one.

Why?

It's more of a macro citybuilder and not a micro citybuilder. You focus on the larger zones and politics instead of individual buildings and the few people you had. It feels like choices matter less. This is not a bad game however but not as harrowing and depressing as the first one.

A Marvel game that is actually pretty good. If you like Hero's and Xcom gameplay, you are in for a treat. Engaging stories and mechanics, the characters actually are well designed. Good for at least 50h of gameplay! Only thing I really didn't like were most of the costumes. Most of the old-style costumes look like ♥♥♥♥. They might be true to their comic look, but that does not say they were well designed in the first place ( yes I know they are from a different time, but still..).

Well produced linear space city-builder with an engaging story, nice little cutscenes and music. The gameplay reminds me of Frostpunk, with adversity and doom around every corner. If you are into challenging builders like Frostpunk, please give this a go!

- note: the game is kinda rough in the sense that there is an optimal path and you need to scum/restart a few times to understand what it wants you to do. I did not mind the grind to be honest, it was engaging enough to forget the frustrations. I see many negative ( and entitled ) reviews thinking this is a relaxing citybuilder sim and quitting after 9 hours. So beware when buying. Personally I think it was worth the price for the 22-ish hours I got out of it.

Very chill and pretty game if you are into medieval artstyles. Don't expect a thrilling game filled with explosions and mass murder, this is a slow paced, point and click book-like game, pretty old school. If you like to immerse yourself in a good narrative experience, this game is made for you. The story is good and strongly reminds me of In The Name of the Rose by Umberto Eco. Expect a mystery that spans many years with several compelling twists.

I heartily recommend this game to anyone who likes a mature setting with a slow murder mystery and branching choices.

You want to feel like a superhero and listen to the best 80s tunes? Want fun, adventure, stupid jokes and EXPLOSIONS?

Wait no longer.

This was seriously metal and dare I say, a good game! Apart from the sometimes funky controls and the occasional bug the game plays well and is a serious blast.

The dialogue and voice acting is of the highest quality and will make you laugh out loud many times. The graphics and the lipsync are actually pretty well done and pleasant to watch.

I have played many games and this game actually made me play for many hours straight. This game has that same magic old titles like Mass Effect used to have. Even if you aren't a Marvel or Guardian of the Galaxy fan this game will keep you entertained for 20-25 hours!

I absolutely recommend this unexpected gem, potential winner in the action-adventure category if you ask me!

Dumbed down version of Warlords ( which was decent game btw! ) which was superior in almost every way.

Pretty interesting game so far. You can play with up to 10 people to defend a 'world' session. Quite fun to explore and gather stuff and upgrade to withstand the inevitable siege on your town. Lots of things to do and without a good group of people who know what to do this is pretty challenging sometimes! Teamwork or some form of cooperation is needed to survive in this game.

Its definitely a bit rough at the moment with the wonky building mechanics, the hitboxes and the fast pacing of boss appearances and waves for newbies.

Great citybuilder reminiscent of the old Impressions games like Caesar, Pharaoh, Zeus and Middle Kingdom! It's not completely there yet, but its close. A few more systems to finetune worker and goods allocation would be nice as well as a bit more variation in maps and gameplay objectives. Nonetheless a good homage to a near dead genre. And the more games we get in this genre the better!

Highly recommended for those who love the genre!

Dark, Atmospheric, Mysterious & The YEET! is very stronk.
My GOTY of 2019. Played it on Epic before and now busy on my 2nd playthrough on Steam.
This game is such a joy to play. The world and setting is beautifully crafted. And it has a likeable non-stereotypical female protagonist. Definitely a work of love and art.

My only gripe is that the game is too short and does not delve deeper into the lore and mystery outside of textlore. Here's to hoping there will be a bigger and more meaty sequel!

I heartily recommend this game! Hyvä peli!
