Many atmospheric platformers overstay their welcome with bland/repetitive levels. Sheepie did not, it's a good game in almost every aspect. (Controls, atmosphere, sound design, exploration density etc.)

Call of Cthulhu: DCoE is riddled with game-breaking bugs, even with the patches installed.
The initial 1/3rd of the game was great and if anything, you may get it just to experience Lovecraft's Shadow out of Time brought to 'live'. The game nails (at least for it's time) the dark dreary atmosphere of Innsmouth and the action sequences were neat.

But that's where all the good stuff ends, the game's level design gets gradually worse to the point of being unbearable. (backtracking, unclear directions, combat bugs, cheap instant deaths etc)

The plot itself references Shadow over Innsmouth in the initial section but has it's own take on what happens to the detective after the events at Innsmouth. While it was decent, it feels like a mess with Shadow out of Time thrown in during the prologue, never to be referenced again until the end.

Short answer: Get the game only if you are a Lovecraft fan and want a short-lived experience of Innsmouth's dreary atmosphere.

I felt like a conman buying this on sale.
I'd also feel like a conman getting this at full price. :|

A fun hidden object game where hints may come in the form of riddles. Solving these riddles gives you a clear section to focus on in an otherwise humongous map~ These hints are not always straightforward but suggests interaction(s) that may be required (by dragging/clicking). It's brilliant! :D

It's rock-papers-scissors disguised as a card game.

The game looks like a carbon copy of other zombie games on steam. But it's much better than what is marketed.

Splatter is a top-down shooter that has a (cheesy) plot, great pacing, amazing sound design and aesthetics. Various infected types, side missions, weapons and mechanics will be introduced as the story progresses, keeping the game fresh.

Grab this if you like twin-stick shooters and brainless carnage.

Is Crypt of the necrodancer enjoyable for me?
It has a vastly different playstyle even among rogue-likes.

Bosses are largely trial and error. While common in rougelikes, the bosses in this game are unforgiving without prior knowledge. Most new enemies require experimentation, being extremely hard on a blind run.

Fortunately, there is a practice dungeon that allows you to figure out how to deal with these obstacles. One's experience on how frustrating (hard) this game is may depend on whether this feature is used. That said, time commitment is almost a necessity and completing this game's storyline is locked behind an insane difficulty wall.

The game itself is fairly short (4x4 zones) and there is a notable difficulty spike in later zones. Expect replaying a level for hours.

-------------TL:DR-------------
Conclusion
Great game, not for everyone. If you have twitchy reflexes, patience practicing, like strategy (more so chess as opposed to RTS) and rouge-like games, this is the game for you!

Otherwise, grab the game on sale for a taste of this masochistic hybrid.
