I purchased this item a couple of months ago, and it hasn't failed me since.
The 2011 version is slightly better, but judge for yourself.

PS. THE RECENT UPDATE DOES NOT MAKE IT WATER/WEATHER-PROOF, IT ONLY ADDS A STUPID APPLE LOGO.
