"The Formula"-

I.) Rule number one of any game or con: You only get smarter by playing a smarter opponent.

II.) The more sophisticated the game, the more sophisticated the opponent.

III.) The answer is for me to feed pieces to you and make you believe you took those pieces because you are SMARTER and I am DUMBER.

IV.) In any game or con there is always an Opponent and always a Victim.

V.) The more control the victim thinks he has, the less control he actually has.

VI.) The Victim will gradually hang himself... you are just there to help him along.

VII.) If the Opponent is very good he will place his victim in an environment he can control. The bigger the environment, the easier to control—Toss the dog a bone. Give him just a little bit of what he thinks he wants—The opponent simply distracts the victim by getting him consumed with his own consumption.

VIII.) The BIGGER the trick, the OLDER the trick, the easier it is to pull; based on 2 principles:

-The Victim thinks it can't be that old.
-The Victim thinks it can't be that big for so many people to have fallen for it.

IX.) Eventually the Opponent is challenged or questioned, which means the Victim's investment and thus his intelligence is questioned.

-A person cannot accept his intelligence being questioned, not even to himself.

X.) There is only One Enemy that ever existed—You are its Victim.

XI.) The best place the Opponent can hide is in the last place you would ever look—The Opponent hides behind your pain.

XII.) The best trick the Opponent ever pulled was to convince you that you ARE him.

XIII.) If you change the rules on what control you, you change the rules on what you can control.
