It's a great inventory management battle game with gameplay that will satisfy your RE4 item management itch, and your pack rat tendencies as you fit every single item you can into your bags even if they have no effect.

my main criticism is how impossible it can be to get certain builds due to the randomness of the shop. which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but it can be frustrating at times.

a major improvement I would suggest would be an endless mode or a sandbox mode where you could just keep moving forward regardless of how many lives you had so you could test out builds.

All in all, the game is fun, and that's what matters.

This game is a nice and difficult rpg practically out of the ps1 era with a soothing soundtrack. The combat is difficult, but with some trial and error, as well as looking at some guides if you get stuck, you can complete the game with some effort.

completing the game 100% though? that's going to require a lot of study, a lot of research, and so many deaths it's not even funny. It requires not only creative battling, but also somewhat precise platforming, as well as understanding movement well enough to figure out how to reach certain areas that would be inaccessible without that knowledge.

Once the game is beaten however, there is some replay value in just attempting to break the normal route as much as possible, for example, getting the last mount early, leaving the starting area without getting any crystals, and killing bosses by luring them into lava, killing them instantly.

overall, it's a great game, a great rpg, and has just the right amount of exploits and workarounds to make it incredibly fun.

This is a speed running parkour game, your goal is to get to the exit as quickly as possible.

Visuals:
The overall aesthetic of the game is really nice, with several different themes for the levels. lights are a slight issue though, as they tend to be a bit overly bright.

Controls:
You can run, fire your bow, double jump, dash, and slide. You basically never have to slide except in the tutorial. Which is kind of annoying. Why implement that feature if you never have to use it at all.

The dash is decent enough, and fairly self explanatory, a quick burst of movement. but it's direction is based on what direction you're moving at the time, so if you're being pushed in a certain direction, no matter how much you try to change direction to the opposite side, you won't be dashing the direction you want to go. One other issue, is that if you dash into an object at an angle, rather than cease your momentum, it slides you along the surface which can really mess up your run.

Jumping in this game is also kind of floaty, and not in a good way, you can be pushed around incredibly easily. In addition, there is also a small mechanic where you slightly jump if you hit the edge of a platform. The dev claims its to prevent frustration, but honestly, the margin of error you need to actually get use out of said jump is so small it's practically negligible.

The bow is a generic bow, but I hate using it. It has a descending flight path as is standard with bows, but the targets are so small that i can't stand it. it's mainly a skill issue on my part really.

Environment: the jumps in the game are fairly simple to start, jump from object to object, and get slightly more difficult as time goes on, as parkour games tend to go, but if i could change one thing about the platforms, it would be to replace one platform with a different kind.

The mentioned platform is a spinning platform that has 4 big holes in it. it's a square frame with a cross in the center that you can walk on. I don't like it. I fall through, and it's already spinning, so a slightly off jump just ruins the run. just fill the holes, and it's fine.

Enemies:
there are 4 types of enemies, turrets, lasers, chasers, and cannons. you can shoot all of these with your bow to take them out except for the cannon. The turrets and lasers are small spheres that are hard to hit, the chasers are larger orbs, and the cannon is always up high and out of reach.

Turrets fire shots at you, and chasers do the same thing while pursuing you. Lasers have a set path that they follow, and fire lasers either constantly or intermittently. Cannons fire explosive shot at you as if they're artillery. if these shots land near you, they can push you around slightly, which can be somewhat helpful.

All in all while the game looks nice, unless you feel like devoting your time into learning the physics and levels perfectly, don't expect too much from this game. Buy it when it's on sale.

This is a nice fun parkour game, it's a bit floaty, but that's fine.

There are 4 main methods of movement, wall running, swinging, hookshot, and bubble jumping. The first three can be exploited in some way to cover for your mistakes, but bubble jumping has no real safety net other than aiming high I feel.

The campaign is great for getting the basics down, as it allows you to just get from point A to point B asap, and there are plenty of exploits that allow you to just skip half the actual level if you can find them.

Challenge mode on the other hand can get frustrating. The collectible orbs have a fairly small hitbox so you need to be exact with your own placement, and the placement of the orbs can also be fairly frustrating, such as one that is just out of range if you wall run past it, causing you to need to jump for it.

Still, all in all the levels were fun, and even if the free parkour area wasn't super big or exciting, I enjoyed swinging around all over the place. All in all, I'd say that this game is worth the money you put into it.

Crafting is a mess, the drop rate on items is horrendous, and you're better off making a new character from scratch if you mess up a build.

The skill system is surprisingly versatile, The break systems is a bit confusing at first, but adds a bit of depth to boss fights, and the graphics are just right to evoke the nostalgia of the PS2/Gamecube era.

Honestly I didn't like this game at first, but after working at it a bit, I found it pretty fun to play through and figure out builds and where to get the best gear. If you want to play this casually, find a build guide online and just stick to that. if you wanna get more serious, you're going to be spending time making characters, leveling them, and deleting them because you messed up the build by even a single skill point. either way, I reccomend you spend time on coryn.club, the database site for the game.

I loved the characters a lot. They were very well designed. I kinda disliked the way the true ending was executed, a bit to meta for my taste really. but aside from that, it was an amazing experience.

My favorite parkour game, It has just the right amount of exploration and freedom for a game it's size. the ending screen is also beautiful.

it's challenging in a good way, not mind crushingly difficult like dark souls or bloodborne, and you can easily solo w/partner most of the game. late game is a lot more difficult and midgame gets old fast.

it's upgraded a lot, and i think its really for the better, the ship changes as you progress and get new crewmates, and while it can take some time tofigure everything out after a long break, it doesn't stop being fun.
