Touhou Luna Nights Review

Touhou Luna Nights is a Metroidvania-Styled Touhou Fangame, and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥'s good.

Ok, let me not get ahead of myself, but honestly this is just simply a solid game.

It looks great, plays well, and has some pretty interesting ideas with it adapting Grazing into your ammo for combat, and of course stopping time, which allows for some more creative level design

Not to mention, the pixel art is fantastic like I said, and the soundtrack has some pretty stellar remixes in my opinion, and the gameplay is really good, different from what you'd expect, but still simple enough to understand and get the hang of real quick, and the levels do a good job testing your abilities, and the bosses do a REALLY good job at this, they are very well designed and fun.

It's just such a overall well made game, honestly you don't even need to be a fan of Touhou to enjoy this one. If you are a fan of Metroidvanias, then you will definitely enjoy this game a lot, as like I said, it's simply a solidly built Metroidvania. If you are a fan of Touhou...well i'm sure you already bought this, it's a damn fine fangame.

It's just a really solid Metroidvania like I said nearly 3 times already, seriously worth the price. It may be a bit short at around 4-5 hours, but you will have a great time the entire time through. If you are a Fan Of Metroidvanias or Touhou, this is an automatic high reccomendation.

I mean its Terraria, you know exactly what you are getting.

Still reccomend, its definitely a good starter game to get on steam, its what I did.

You can be Demoman Driving The Patty Wagon from Spongebob and running over a group of Kermits while a group of Mario's shoot up a group of Sentry Busters with a Sexyness Gun as a nuke hits Steve in the head at the Hakurei shrine and then proceeds to break the lighting of the map making it all bright white, all the while, a giant Knuckles is default dancing in the background.

Truly a masterpeice.
