I can't recommend this game enough. It's the perfect culmination of all of the previous works from SGG and showcases all of their strengths. This is the best Roguelik(t)e I've ever played and the difficulty is still approachable for a more casual audience. The voice acting, writing, and characterization is phenomenal. The gameplay loop is engaging and feels different (but good) every time.

Just buy it.

It's just Darth Souls.

This game takes what I was obsessed with in Mega Man Battle Network and brings it into the 21st century.

Strongly recommend for anybody who longs for more games of that style!

Would be a fantastic game if it didn't have such a badly designed difficulty curve. That being said, the developers are evidently very responsive and are working to improve.

Very classic-feeling roguelike with a lot of depth. Currently there is definitely a difficulty spike after the first boss. Healing exists, but in a frustratingly limited capacity. Often you'll find youself swamped by monsters with no way to escape or heal yourself.

I'll keep playing and check in again later.
