First of all this this is a game i really can't recommend to everybody. the pacing is really slow.
The controls can be a bit weird at first, one of the first things i did was walk straight over a cliff because you have momentum when running, when walking down hill you gain speed so stopping takes a bit, when walking on uneven ground or while carrying a lot you can lose balance and would have to would have to regain it or risk falling and damaging your cargo.
most of the game consist of just walking from point A to B with cargo that can break if you're not careful, so you would have to do that long walk and climb over that mountain again just because you fell down a few meters in front of your destination. In my first 9 the only enemy i had met was the bts and at that point all i could do was try to hide and avoid them, i hadn't even been told how to fight yet.

With that said i kept coming back for more and one of the reasons for that is the progress, its slow but it works. Every obstacle you met can be tough at first and it takes a while to get the hang of, but when you do and they are nothing more than a small bump in the road you start getting equipment that helps you and make it a easy to get through.
Every time you get to a new area there are nothing to help you, all you have is rope that can be used to get downhill safely, and ladders for going up to a place otherwise unreachable or crossing a small gap that is to far to jump.
And this is only if you have space to carry it, since all your equipment uses the same space as the cargo you have to deliver, so sometimes you might only have room for one ladder or one set of ropes. so planning ahead is also needed if you want to make it easier for yourself.

Now ones a new area is "linked" this is where the online portion starts showing while you can't see other players there still are some online interaction. Bridges and other structures starts appearing that other players have made you can also make your own, the ravine that was too large to cross? just build a bridge over it to help your next trip back over it might even help someone else. dirt roads also starts to appear if you or other players follow the same path a lot. You can put down signs that appears for other players to show something interesting you found or just to boost morale, which actually gives back some stamina so it's not just pointless.
if you lose some cargo on a trip, other players might find it and return it to a base where you can then pick it up again. Players can also leave vehicles out in the world that you can use if needed.

Enemies consist of bts and human enemies. Bts are mostly dealt with by avoiding them and hiding, but they can still be really intense since you can't see them and the only thing to help are your scanner that points in the direction of them. later in the game you get equipment to deal with them easier.
Humans are what you would expect stealth, melee and guns.
Stealth is the classic, sneak behind them and do a silent takedown. With melee you can block, parry and attack or as i prefer to do, if you are carrying some cargo in your hands that you don't need throw it at them to stun or knock them out. Guns are just standard third person shooter, both lethal and non lethal and some different throwable equipment.

I won't spoil anything story wise but i did enjoy it even if really weird and convoluted. And there are a lot of cutscenes (that can be skipped if you don't care about them)
The game is around 50-60 hours long and it took me 75 for all the achievements so even at full price i would say it is worth it,
And i've enjoyed it from start to finish, definitely one of the best games i played this year.
But it's not a game for everybody so if you are unsure i would recommend looking at gameplay online and judge if it's something for you, just remember that most of the game is getting from point A to B.
