In "the good old days", my buddy and I played a mod called OpenRCT2, which among other things added multiplayer to RCT2. It was the best fun in the world, and recently we noticed that multiplayer came to Parkitect so we decided to finally get it.

If you're hesitant about buying, take my word for it. This is the kind of game where you meant to stop playing three hours ago, and even after you realize it you're tempted to keep playing. It is worth every dollar.

Early Access Review
I picked up Deep Rock during a free weekend sale. I decided to try it out with some friends, and towards the end I had racked up something like 20 hours. At that point, I figured they deserved the money even if I never played it again.

Dear god, I have played it again. The developers are constantly racking out high quality updates. The models and textures are beautiful immersive perfection. The guns feel satisfying to use. The missions are infinite fun. My dwarf is the prettiest princess at the ball.

You may ask, "But Krinon, what if I want a singleplayer game?" Get it anyways. You get a floaty little robo-bud to help you out named Bosco, and he is delightful.

"But Krinon, what if I'm interested in another game, and I'm not sure I'll enjoy DRG?" Don't worry about it. It's this game. You. Want. This. Game.

Planet Coaster is disappointing, in my opinion. I understand that they'll be adding more content later, but at the moment it feels less like a roller coaster tycoon game, and more like a "build-pretty-things" simulator.

I was looking for a fun business management game with modern twists and high customizability; but while there is high customizability, if you want to theme your park you are left with a disappointing amount of content, because even though there's a large amount of assets you can use to customize your park, when you split those assets into individual themes that work well together, you're left with a disappointing number of options.

Admittedly, I'm not a super creative person, as such I was disappointed when I learned that the amount of regular rides the game came with at launch was very low. Not to mention, as before, if you want to theme your park then you have almost no options, as they barely fit into any themes other than "Themepark."

Planet Coaster is a polished game, with a very pretty and promising outside, and a hollow inside. I hope to purchase it again at another date, when they've fixed the problems I have with the game, and add more content.

The Concourse is a fun game based around dodging obstacles and sabotaging your opponents. At any time during the game, at the cost of ability points that generate over time you can use one of three abilities, ice which makes your movement slippery, confusion which flips your controls and camera, and a movement restriction ability which freezes you where you stand.

You can also press shift, which activates your shield. With your shield on, your movement is completely stopped but attacks get reflected back at your enemies that attack you.

The game at the time of writing this review has very few obstacles, and the multiplayer is nigh empty. Despite this, I enjoyed playing the game and I believe that with time it will become extremely fun to play and with more players, the fun will only increase.

Viridi is a game about watching several plants grow in a pot. These grow in real time, but sadly, real time is very slow. If you want, you can buy more plants, so that you can have even more pretty things in your pot, but those cost money. Not a lot, just about 15 cents per plant, but it's still a way to nickel and dime every cent out of your pockets. You can get a random plant every week, which is a nice touch, but extremely slow.

There's also something called a "map to the grove", which is not explained at all ingame, and costs $5 to buy, but I don't like buying random things that don't tell me what they do.

If you ignore your plants and forget to water them, they'll all die, if you over-water your plants, they'll all die. If it was just something you looked at, it would work well. Just leave it on in the background and check every few hours or so. But if you leave it on for a few hours or so, won't they start dying? Right you are, this is a game that's designed to sit in the background, but you need to interact with it!

TL;DR if you want something to look at and take care of throughout your work day, you can leave this on in the background and let it play pretty music for you. I don't want something to play pretty music for me. 4/10.

P.S. your pot has a snail that slowly moves around it. 10/10.

I played through a 100 days in the game before I asked for a refund.

This game is difficult, not only is it difficult, but the controls are terrible, whether you're on the keyboard or controller. (And you really need to be using the controller.)

The difficulty scale gets completely out of hand if you don't have basic upgrades, and even though there's a fair amount of upgrades in the airship, you run out of time before you can probably buy five of them, let alone fully upgrade them.

The gimmick of this game is that it keeps getting harder to scale, but it's too easy to die. If you miss one level you're completely screwed and will lose when you run out of time. Oh yeah, the time function in this game.

The way "days" work in this game is that you have 100 of them before all your stats are reset. Yeah. Every bit of progress you achieved is deleted after a small amount of time. "Oh, but I only managed to buy hacking, bombs, and no fall damage upgrades! How am I supposed to get all those cool gadgets that allow me to see where things are faster, and delay the police?" Well, you don't. It's completely impossible. If someone actually managed to beat this game and get all the upgrades, I would be amazed.

But hey, maybe you want a game that's completely unbeatable, but I like feeling as if I'm a god at the end of games, not trip on my own shoes and die when I find the final boss.
