I quit when the dialogue kept playing even though I've had the game paused.

Do I even need to say anything? Only buy it if you wanna the full Valve bundle. At least there'll be a couple of good games to reduce the pain once you're done

Okok, let's ignore all the booba and the hentai for a moment and actually talk seriously about this game (I'll admit tho, they're some good booba :flooshed:).

To me, Helltaker really felt like something that just wants to have some non-offensive (non-offensive in its own terms, at least), self-aware fun. The method of getting that fun never felt like the primary focus to me while playing it.
The game just lets you choose what part you really enjoy. Some might find the demons cute, some might like the difficulty of the puzzles, and some might just laugh their ass off at the self-aware tone like I did. It's really something up to you, and that's a sorta choice I always have respect for games that provide it.
If you enjoy self-aware humor and media that likes to poke fun at itself (which is something I personally dig to no end) and would forgive a super basic game structure that isn't anything interesting from a coding standpoint, then this will be an alright time for you.

Also it's free and takes less than half a gigabyte, so it's not like you'll lose any money (or that much of your Internet for that matter) by downloading it lmao

Honestly, POSTAL 2 is something entirely different compared to every videogame I played before. The humor, the charm, the offensive satire, the shock material, the protagonist's "No-♥♥♥♥♥-given" atittude. I can totally see why it became the beloved cult classic that it is. And it truly deserved it.

Even without all of what I just listed, fhe game still has its fun moments. Sure, it'd be painfully dull, but Running With Scissors made sure that the gameplay can stand on its own. The guns are satisfying as heck, and while a majority of the melees don't have that much to say compared to the guns (except Apocalypse Weekend's "Edged weapons" which basically one-hit most of the NPCs), they're still beyond fun to massacre people with.
