At the time of this review I've only played for a few hours so far but every minute of that has been spent laughing my ass off and being amazed at how much fun this Silly Crusty battle Royale throws at you. Sometimes Literally a man who is basically immune to bullets swinging fists.

Rituals alone cause such an insane amount of variety in gameplay from Raising zombies to jump pads and Traps that cause you to look at the sky every time you pull the trigger. There is no end it seems to how any situation can play out.

Bunkers with mounted machine guns dot the map giving the teams that control the bunker a crazy place to hold out without consuming their own ammo resources.

I dont like the Battle Royale sub genre in general. I find them Tedious and frankly kind of boring however Cuisine Royale Does its best to shake things up and not waste any of your time while still maintaining the core of a battle royale. Even if you die you arnt waiting around for another lobby nor do you have to wait to drop you and your squad are thrown into the battlefield randomly (together thankfully) and can get right into the thick of it.

Give it a shot if you got some time you want to kill with a couple of your friends and don't want to take it to serious. The game doesn't take itself seriously and Neither should you. Regardless its a great time.

Look, I actually have been really enjoying playing this but Im also super patient with bugs and even several infinite money glitches. Sure some flying enemies sometimes become untargetable or really ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hard to click on and Sure sometimes in multiplayer my skills just stop connecting with things even though im the host.

But When skills, and the Tag system that is suppose to make know what passives effect what skills Just does not work properly or at all in some cases and this game is apparently a finished product (seriously WOLCEN STUDIOS are you guys okay?)

I can't on good conscious recommend this game right now not at its current price tag. This is still an early access product A beta if you will.

The game alone is really nice looking, The animations are fantastic and frankly when skills do work it feels great. Keep your eyes on it wait for a sale or some major bug fixing updates.

Come on Wolcen Studio I dont know what you were thinking but its not to late to salvage this at all just throw it back in the Oven for a bit longer.

Its like space station 13. Except not at all.

I've only played through one Match without DC so far. I won it was great I also learned all solo'd duos, and groups play together. Was suprised because I thought people were teaming which annoyed me.

anywhoooo. The game is a good time. Its not meant to be taken seriously like pubg would be. Honestly thats what makes it better in my opinion. The physics are weird but still fluid. The gunplay is quirky but still solid. Its fun to watch people flip around when you dome them or Fly through the air with a minigun. Im looking forward to play this more and more and seeing if it can grow into something More than just a parody game.

To get things out of the way I went into this with.. Fairly low expectations. I've played the non VR version and while it is not a bad game it felt some what lacking. Now when it comes to the VR version It feels like one of my favorite Co-op experiences in VR so far. It may not be the prettiest game. Simply speaking its not the assets and characters are frankly kind of ugly in VR. But maybe that is just a result of me being a fairly large man and the world scaling weirdly to fit me.

The weapons all feels rather good to use other than shotguns. This im sure is just a personal taste as I do not like shotguns to begin with. Sometimes pulling grenades off my chest can be a pain because Ill either grab nothing even though my hand is over the grenade or ill grab my rifle off my back. This is a minor issue and Most vr games with a chest inventory system suffers similiarly.

Though the missions are fairly similiar this is not particularly a bad thing. With the RPG elements and the mulititude of weapon types you always feel like you have a goal to progress to next. I fail to follow the story but thats partly do to just wanting to shoot zombies and what not in the face with my new shooty stick.

So basically Try out the game. It is without a doubt worth it. Bring a buddy or 2 along for the ride as well. Nothing screams Crazy good time Like Firing a ball of lighting into a horde of zombies while your buddy frantically tries to heal himself while you have no more remaining ammunition but you can't stop laughing because Enemies ragdolling through the air after being blown up is always a good time.

I dont know why it took me so long to write a review for this game. This game has been an inspiration to me in a lot of ways. Everything about it is rather simplistic in nature but Beautiful and immersive regardless. The art style is a very simple pixel style. The animations are extremly simple as well. But all of that works in the games favor. It still feels alive and every attack you face or shot you take has weight behind it. Every item feels rewarding to get and they all stack with themselves to game breaking amounts if you play long enough. (literally crashing the game at some point) Don't take the fairly few hours in this game as me not playing it that much. I'm sure I have well over 200 hours of gameplay.

Honestly There is so much good about this game I can't really think of a reason to not like it. Just stop reading reviews and buy the game already its only $10 US and well worth it.

I'm just going to say a few things about D:OS2 . I have almost 50 hours at the time of writing this review and haven't completed the second chapter yet. There is so much to this game I can't help but explore everything read everything I can and talk to anyone and everyone. For most RPG's of this nature the game gets worse with more people playing with you (in my opinion) but D:OS2 gets nothing but better for each friend you have with you. I can't explain how much I Love that. The game lets you do anything you chose don't like that child? Kill it. Don't want to kill the demon currently trying to rip your face off? run away and sneak past it. Don't wanna do that guys quest but still want his stuff? Well theres probably another way to get the same thing usually by killing or stealing but you know.

Now the game is not at all without its flaws. It has bugs that annoy me. Small things like some probs clipping through each other (including a stairwell access box being accessable from outside the building it was in.) to larger things like my game crashing everytime I save. -im pretty sure this is an issue with the steam cloud save system still can't fix it though This is also not a common issue apparently-

All in all I do recommend the game. I also recommend making sure you have 1 to 4 friends to play with. Have not personally tried GM mode myself but I want to it sounds like a blast.
Anyone TLDR: Game is Good play it.
