Bought it for the giggles of the theme, immediately blown away by the quality.

Bought the special edition because this game is that well done.
It straight FEELS like an old Xbox 360 CoD Zombies mission set, mixed with some payday elements.
And i mean lets be real. Who doesnt like killing nazis?
OH, as well as an incredibly INGLORIOUS BASTARDS vibe.

Also, 10/10 for the audacity for the live action cutscenes. bravo and a half, i appreciate these IMMENSELY.
Game is a MASSIVE sleeper. ABSOLUTELY WORTH the modest ten dollars asked.
was bought for FOUR dollars during winter sale 2024. no regrets giving these guys the additional twenty for the special edition.

devs are doing their best, but lets be real, greedy sony is being greedy sony.

All joking aside, this game is actually quite fun.
its free. the most you have to lose is 30 to 90 minutes.

As much as i love killing floor, killing floor 2 is VASTLY superior

If you have a heart condition, maybe dont.

This game is the most terrifying, unnerving, and sadistic hole of anus i have played in a while.
I hate it. And i love it. But i mostly hate it.
Enjoy the terrors of space with a friend.
Watch them get stolen by the shadowman.
Cower as your radios go silent.

Its like DRG meets GTFO and its really REALLY fun.

THIS IS A ROGUELIKE. YOU WILL DIE ALOT. IT WILL NOT SEEM FAIR. THAT IS HOW ROGUELIKES ARE.


That out of the way, the gameplay is fairly simplistic, but somehow its very very fluid. Hitboxes feel good, i have not had an instance of "that REALLY hit me?" thusfar, as well as the opposite. Hitting the mobs is solid, little confusion as to whether im actually connecting or not. Well done there! Mobs start off fairly reasonable, but the difficulty ramps up FAST. Days feel like a good length to me, nights feel a little short, but thats personal preference. Id akin it similar to atomicrops in that instance, day/nights are semi quick. The game doesnt give you a LOT of direction, just teaches you the very basics, this can be good or bad depending on your personal tastes. I personally like the "figure things out" method that theyve implemented, its reasonably straightforward honestly. As far as what id compare this to, its like a combination of Rust, Risk of Rain, and a little bit of valheim.

Like i said, its free, why not give it a chance and form your own opinions?

Decided to assault a goblin village, Ended up hiding 2 warlocks and constantly bombard the goblins with endlessly resummonable imps because i was "out of combat". Which ultimately caused my friends to take MUCH fewer turns, because it broke initiative. And then my friend killed one with a potato.

TLDR goofy shenanigans work far far better than you realize. So much fun :D

Probably one of the more deceptively complex games youll ever play. i have over 800 hours and im STILL learning things by playing. Seriously, this game is actually very challenging. Unforgiving traps, bosses that are an actual threat, tight mechanics and movement, a myriad of weapons items and gear allow for a truly customizable playstyle.
Seriously, this game is GOOD. play it. And dont feel bad about using the wiki, its INCREDIBLY useful. i STILL use it.
