Some of the OST in this game are life changing. The first time you're hit with that Quietus OST and look out above the cliff, it really engraves this eerie sense of calm in your mind. It is and probably always will be in my top 5 in terms of musical composition and atmosphere.

The game's story is really good towards the end, giving you that feeling when you first played through Nier. It also has similiarities to Tales of Arise and keeps you guessing all the way to the very end.
My only gripe with it being that it does start off very slow and somewhat childish aside, it was a pleasant story to experience.

The combat, although kind of basic, was decently fun and the skills made each class feel impactful. Here my only real con was the fact that you unlock the Samurai class so late into the game that you don't get to use much of it throughout the story.

I don't think the farming sim tag does this game any favors, since that was the main reason for me to avoid playing it sooner. This game is more of a solid JRPG with farming as an extra to chill inbetween questing. Being able to farm and cook is a nice touch, sure, but even without that this game would have been great.

For anyone who likes JRPGs with a touch of emotion, this game is a must play. Hope to someday be able to play something similiar with a more mature tone. That is about the only thing I can think of that could top a game like this.
