The art is very nice. The setting is cool and there are plenty of nice touches to make the atmosphere cuter.
As for the gameplay... well it's an interactive story, so it's a walking simulator. 🤷‍♂️

Still, a fun mini game.

Finished the story. Wholesome/cute vibe all throughout the game.

Survival crafter where you can tame animals and have them help you build stuff or battle

If I spend half an hour in a mission I'd like to get rewards from it, or at the very least experience, instead of getting randomly disconnected and sent back to base.
Had that happen back to back during quick play. 0 rewards, not even the ones you get for the failed missions.

How is this game 4 years old without a decent host migration? 3 of us were sent back together in base, all our connections were working(not premade) just the host vanished near the end of the level, causing us to lose every reward.

Garbage developers. Shouldn't have bought the dlc pack

What bothers me the most is how dumb their support for different resolutions is. On my normal screen I have like an inch of game each side where the mouse won't go. On my ultra wide it's like 5 inches wide on each side. I tried all options and fullscreen/widnowed combinations, some would even shift the mouse lock a few inches outside the actual game in one side and have double the dead edge on the other... Hope they fix that, but for now, it's a no from me... will revisit later

A tower defense that also has you attack. It's nice

It's a great coop game.

Main idea:
You have to do certain objectives(usually rather simple) while staying alive and fighting a few mobs. After you're done, you call an escape pod and extract... even if only one of the team makes it out, it's a win for the team, which is great.

The game has quite a few pros to it, and for now I can't really think of the cons

Casual friendly:
This is a great game for casual gameplay, but you can grind quite a few stuff as well so the gameplay loop still feels rewarding

Multiplayer:
Inviting friends is as simple as right clicking them via steam, but you can also host friends only rooms or public rooms. Finding a random group for a certain mission you gotta do is also really easy and I've done it quite a bit, it doesn't take up more than a few seconds to do a mission you need

Solo play:
If you're into it, you can play solo as well, and you get a little drone to help you out and revive you a couple of times

Diversity of gameplay:
There's a bunch of builds you can have/use for any of the 4 classes, so the game doesn't feel boring fast. You change your builds by switching weapons/switching the config you have on weapons, switching the perks you have on your character, opening up quite a few posibilities

The shop(DLCs) are purely cosmetic which is also nice

Lazy PC port, doesn't even have the keyboard controls.

It's a grind heavy game, somewhat mechanically intensive. If you like doing dungeons or monster hunter style battles, you might like this game. It's also a pretty nice MMO and I'm having alot of fun as a free to play(excluding skins) player

The game is undoubtedly p2w. It's so obvious it's not up for debate... you can basically buy gear upgrades and actually buy ingame power with money, but the p2w aspect mostly affects non competitive pve content.
PVP is equalized in gear so it genuinely doesn't matter there

That does NOT stop you from having lots of fun as a free to play player. You can do almost everything as a free to play player with enough time into the game

The only real con is that AGS publishes it, an absolutely horrible publisher that likes to rely alot on predatory tactics to make you pay into the game, and lies to players alot and does more harm than good when altering the game. They should have just republished the korean version, but they absolutely HAD TO fix what isn't broken

If you can ignore ags being the publisher, then 100% go for this game

Pros:
Nice progression loop: You basically have to hoard stuff, kill stuff, craft gear, go back to killing and so on. Sometimes the upgrades are quite meaningful
Lots of weapons, some with completely different game styles
The story guides you through just about the whole entirety of the game, I wasn't even THAT interested in the story itself tbh, I thought I'd play this mostly as a time filler but I was somewhat captivated, the story is coherent and even if you don't really pay attention, it gets to you
Nice graphics. I like the zones and all
Nice armors. Some look absolutely awesome and are designed so damn well(though for the most part, full sets are useless and you end up looking like a chimera if you mix gear to maximize stats not looks)
The game challenges you, and some victories feel awesome

Cons:
-The targeting is really weird for a PC game. Gets a bit of time to get used to... You can't attack as in usual games with a mouse and keyboard, you can have your character right next to a mob and hitting thin air instead of the giant monster taking up the entire screen. Auto targeting is just horrendous. Again, it just gets time to get used to, not a dealbreaker
-Dodge is problematic. First off, you can't stop mid combo to dodge, if an attack animation starts, you have to see it through, even as you see a giant fire breathing dragon running towards you. That's incredibly stupid. There's also some invulnerability frames to dodging, but for the most part, you can't rely on it. It's really inconsistent.

This review is for the base game only. I have way more issues with the DLC expansion which I won't get into here. I don't regret buying it, but I won't be recommending that to anyone. This base game however, is an overall great game imo, and worth a buy even if you(like me) start playing late
