10/10, wouldn't do it again

This visual novel definitely deserves more recognition. When I first saw TNLT on the steam store, it hadn't even been released yet (and money was a bit tight tbh) luckily for me, a friend of mine let me play in his account, and even now that I've bought it for my own, three years later, I still played it every now and then.

It's a beautiful story, the narrative is enjoyable and notoriously immersive, as well as carefully thought and written. The art style is quite different from the traditional visual novels, but it doesn't look out of place, it's actually a nice twist in comparsion to generic novels, along with thegeneral development of the story, of course. Even though it's a short run (the longest route can be fully read, without speeding, in about 4 hours), it's delightful to play.

Only downside is, I haven't really had the guts to hurt chris in order to get the alternate endings, so... I can't really say much about those. But overall, this is a great novel.

Thrilling. Playing as killer is a bit tiring at the beggining, but you get the hang of it real quick. As for survivors, it's quite nice as long as you keep your priorities in mind.
