The took your money and ditched; alot of things that were promised havnt been done. never support these people

Being this is a review based on my opinon, you dont have to agree with everything i say here but these are a few reasons i feel like this is a dangerous direction to take the game when the first one focused heavily on the atmosphere and it did wonders to its success; this one seems to ignore that largely.

-Having a voiced actor compared to the first game really brings a different atmosphere and its my opinon its not the correct atmosphere for a game like this.
-About 1 minute into the game our protagonist is given the option to leave the planet and does not choose to do so; i feel like this breaks from the immersion as the main goal is to escape our current unfortunate situation?
-Later in the game there is a couple issues i have with the story mode (wont post becuase spoilers and it may change; hopefully), where she is far too reckless with a gamble on her situation and it pays off (this should be fairly obvious what im talking about if you have progressed a fair way into the story). This is a break from the already shallow character i feel like they have developed so far.

all in all i feel like they are trying to ride off the success of their first game but i cant say that about the final product only the one i have available to me atm.

imo play with voices off, i know i did after 2 minutes.

I really want to like it but, this needs some series work before it is worth your time / money.

The UI is actually terrible like, i realise there is alot of info you want to show but, this feels like a new modder gave it ago rather than a company that has released EU4 or CK2. It doesnt feel polished to the paradox level that previous titles have. like i really really wanted to like this and recommend it but i just cant its just a cluster ♥♥♥♥ like, there is no better way to say it, if you want to play a grand strat thats actually good, go play CK2.

Warrior Lodges; are an amazing addition.
The Sway / Antagonize feature feels like it should have been in the base game,

If you are on the fence about it, get this one; it really adds alot of your CK2 playthrough especially if you are playing as the strong vikings or as the holy romans.

The Ammount of problems and lack of response from the devs with some common issues leaves this game in the dont try even with the special. Its not worth your time.

This game is truly amazing, while it does take some time to get use to (this has been massivly reduced with the introduction of an in-game tutorial that has been implemented since i first played it), it really is the pick of the early access games that you just know it is going somewhere. With the AI doing what they do best, the creator always talking on the forums (his trying to make it more mod friendly, and adding a competition to make a mod into the base game) and those animals you fall in love with. you just cant help yourself but say i want 5 more minutes and next thing you know its 4am, you have to get up in 4 hours for work and you already know you are screwed, but it was totally worth it because you expanded your base that little more, defended against those pirates, recovered from a disastrous event that has happened or unfortunately you just dont want to go to bed because your favourite animal companion got hurt from a band of raiding pirates.

This game is truly worth your time, even though it is early access it feels like a full game already it truly is amazing and i cant even express the amount of enjoyment in words that this game will bring you as you become connected to your pawns.

Update: Its still pretty good 1700 hours on
