Fun game for what it is and for the price. It's basically playing an episode of South Park where as the other two were like movies. It's not super long and that's ok.

It's not as good as Stick of Truth or Fractured But While, but I would give it a solid 6 maybe even 7 out of 10.

Worth playing if you are a South Park fan. Whether or not it's worth the $30 is up to you, but I think that was the correct price point to make this game. Especially if they are going to do like they mentioned and add stuff regularly from the show.

Played two hours so far as of writing this and had fun despite the major frame drops, but I can't abide by a single player game having micro transactions.

Though this is Capcom so it's not really surprising.

A great game ruined by massive amounts of issues and crashes.

And then their response to players losing XP, Super Credits, Medals and Research Points for a week was we'll give you a double XP weekend. Which is just a straight F U to all the players.

Maybe I'll give the game a positive review once it's fixed. If it gets fixed because it is fun, but you can't even join random games because the game is so broken and you can really only play with friends.

Rock and Stone

A very good Auto Shooter Rogue-Like Spinoff. Needs some balancing, but it's still in EA as of writing this so I'm sure it'll be done. A very solid EA release with no issues on PC or Steam Deck.

Looking forward to seeing what they will add.

I really wanted to like this game, but I just can't.

You think I would be cause it seems pretty perfect. There's quests that help you focus on stuff to do. The combat is action heavy and kinda souls like. The building is like other survival games, but you can use smaller blocks for finer detail.

Despite all those things it just doesn't feel good and honestly I am not sure why. Could be that it's Early Access so it's not all the way there or it could just be the game altogether. I honestly don't know.

I'd watch some gameplay before you buy it, but for now it's just there for me.

As great as the game is I will not recommend it as my little way of telling Sega and RGG that I do not support cutting basic game mechanics that are required to 100 percent the game in order to up sell us and get more money from us.

Sega and RGG are selling us 90% of a game and charging us an extra $20 for the other 10%. It does not matter if you like New Game+ or didn't have plans to use it because other people do. Especially people who like to get all the achievements and Sega and RGG are charging us an extra $20 in order to get all the achievements.

All this does is set a bad precedent where if we don't say something now then companies will think it's ok to do in the future and will keep pushing it until it's to the point where we are getting sold portions of games at full game prices. No one thought Horse Armor would lead to anything bad and now look where we are. We have Micro Transactions and cut base game content for full priced games where the content they are cutting is a third if not more of what the base game costs.

Like the game all you want, but no one should be Positively reviewing this game when Sega and RGG are trying to milk us dry and charge us even more money for basic game mechanics.

I'm only giving this game a positive review because it technically isn't a bad game.

The game itself when it comes down to it is just another Survival game. Sure you have the mechanic of catching Pokemon like creatures called PALs, but deep down it's no different than playing Ark, Valheim or one of the hundreds of other Survival games that have been released.

Don't get me wrong the game is fun like all the others for the first 10 hours or so, but then the Survival game fatigue sets in. Though your time may very depending on if you are playing with friends or not. I am playing solo so it sets in pretty quickly.

Beyond catching better Pals and upgrading your base there isn't much here. Sure the game has World Bosses (which are just stronger Pals from the normal versions) and Dungeons/Boss Fights, but the Dungeons/Boss Fights consist of one room with some Stronger Pals in them and that's it.

The game has a cool mechanic of catching Pals, but as of right now that's about all it has going for it to set it apart from other survival games and despite it being fun I don't see the popularity lasting more than a couple months just like all the other Survival games because deep down its just another Survival game where all you do collect stuff and make a cool base and I think people will move on pretty fast once the awe of catching creatures dies down.

I'm sure the story is good and the gameplay seems fun.

But the game suffers from major game breaking bugs that will force you to constantly restart from checkpoint hoping the bug doesn't happen again when it most likely will and crashes that are so bad that it locks up your computer making you restart or CTRL Alt Del and sign out. For a game that's 10 years old you would expect it to work by now.

I'm sure the new Trilogy is good, but as of now it looks like I won't be able to find out.
