The most fluid feeling Soul Calibur game.

-Story is passable. They essentially started the story from scratch so you don't need to play a prerequisite title to understand the story (if you're interested in the story which is far from the main focus of the game).
-I'm kinda upset that the map variety has been toned down (i.e. the map would change through the course of the fight, and there less maps all together...)
-Fan service up the wazoo.
-Character creator is insane, I can't wait for more options in the future.
-Very solid roster; missing a couple like Cassandra and Amy but I'm not too upset... okay maybe I am.
-Reversal Edge, aka rock paper scissors, is annoying unless YOU win the trade. I hear people say this mechanic is RNG but I think it's more mind games with your opponent, if you're playing online. So I guess it is RNG when you're playing against AI... Looks cool when you do it though

-Online matchmaking is a joke at times, you could be Rank G3 and get paired with a C1. Casual lobbies are okay, you can't have a password with a private lobby which kinda sucks. The best thing about online is finding peoples' wacky and fun anime waifu custom characters.

-Soul Charge is a fun way of completely turning the tides of the battle.

-Highly recommend tthis to anyone who's new to fighting games or if you like Soul Calibur.

P.S. I know this isn't a typical review, just sharin' my thoughts :)
