First off, this game f*ckin' slaps. Simple as that. I didn't play Severed Steel, but I saw this game release to overwhelmingly positive reviews and watching the trailer really intrigued me.

I like to think of myself as an avid fps genre gamer and Echo Point Nova ticks all the boxes I could want. The movement is, if not, the best I have ever seen in any fps game ever, let alone, ANY game ever. Flying through the air, grappling, hoverboarding, multiple jumps, resetting those jumps with perks; it combines into THE most satisfying movement. The gunplay just adds to that on another level. All the guns were viable and fun. I absolutely loved the "Gun Game" perk, which switched your gun every time you killed someone. It kept the gameplay fresh, whilst still feeling extremely fluid and badass every time you killed someone.

I do think some of the digging for some perks slowed down the pacing a bit, especially for a game like this, but it didn't deter me from still playing and enjoying every minute.

This game deserves every positive review and it honestly might be my GotY for 2024. I fully recommend!

I was beyond stoked to see the Backyard Games franchise appear on Steam. Backyard Baseball was always my favorite game of the franchise and I have so many memories from seeing how far I could hit a home-run to printing out the newspaper articles when my team won the pennant/series.

Backyard Baseball '97 refills all that joy I had as a kid playing these games. It's exactly how I remember it and I wouldn't have it any other way. I cannot wait for the rest of the Backyard Games to follow. Easy recommend.

To preface, I have never played a 9th Dawn game before (I have 9th Dawn III, but barely touched it), so I didn't really know what I was in for or how the game worked. It's a simple ARPG that does a lot of things well and some things not so well.

The combat is very easy as it is just click towards where the enemies are and you do damage. In my playthrough, I didn't try any spells, but from what the pets cast, which I am assuming are just spells the player character can cast, they also seem easy to use as well. Combat did get very repetitive as sometimes I would just start running past enemies to get to the objective because I was in the best gear, already max level, and so were my pets.

I liked the addition of the Deck Rock mini-game, which is essentially Slay the Spire, however, I didn't really enjoying the fishing mini-game, which was Fishing Survivors(Vampire Survivors). I wish there was an option to fish a different way, but I am sure some people enjoyed it.

The world was fun to explore and I loved all the dungeons and side quests. The dialogue was witty and I was always curious to what the next NPC would say.

I'm not an achievement kind of person, but some of them here are insane and will take a bit of time, but I am assuming that's how all the 9th Dawn games have been, so, if that is your cup of tea, all the power to ya.

I also played 9th Dawn Remake on my Steam Deck multiple times and had no problems with it, it ran perfectly.

Overall, I am really glad I tried 9th Dawn and I enjoyed my time spent on it and learning how the game works. I fully recommend.

As someone who never really got into the hype behind Vampire Survivors and their genre-like titles, I am sitting here with 100% achievement completion on Brotato thinking of how I can ever try the other titles after playing it.

Brotato just did something to my brain that I didn't think was possible with these kind of titles. The ease of access getting into it and learning during each run really captivated me and kept me going for 100% completion, which I don't usually do for video games.

I could go on, and on about the character designs, the enemy designs, the items, the stats, hell, even the music. (It's all freaking amazing, by the way.) But I will just say, to anyone that plays these Vampire Survivor-like titles, Brotato is a must-have in your library. I played so much on Steam Deck, which ran perfect, and also on my PC and I always played with a sense of fun and a smile on my face. Brotato is my all-time favorite survivor-like title and I am super hyped for the upcoming DLC! I fully recommend!

Amazing little rhythm game with incredible audio/visual design.

I applaud the players going for all "Perfect Scores" as some of the levels can be quite tricky; I'm looking at you, lighter level, you suck eggs.

Sucker for Love: First Date is honestly one of my favorite Visual Novels. I was honestly a little skeptical on playing this one, but I was blown away by the quality and value this provides.

The start to the game really sets the whole tone with the anime-like music and an art style that grasps the player instantly. I was instantly drawn in as hearing the music and hearing the voices for the first character you meet. Yup. Voices! And they are actually wicked well done! The voice actors really seemed like they enjoyed reading their parts and are perfect for who they played.

I really enjoyed how this novel had multiple branches in decisions and endings. Without spoiling too much, you can interchange certain items and it changes how the novel is played out. The novel has a puzzle-like aspect to it and I think that really adds to the whole directive the devs were going with here. Obviously, I had to try and find all the endings and, did I mention secrets?? The final *final* ending was actually pretty tricky. It took me a while to get the hang of it, but definitely worthwhile!

I really, REALLY enjoyed this visual novel. I hope to see more from these devs in the future because I intend to fully endorse anything they put out. Overall, I fully recommend.

Estir best eldritch horror waifu.

Umichan Sorani is a great little VN that hits all the points you want in a decent VN, without doing too much or too little in its gameplay.

You are working to try and earn money for your sister and you can choose how you earn that money, whether that be with minigames or sexual advances. The minigames are okay. I think there are only a couple, so it can get repetitive if you choose to earn money without any sexual favors.

The naughty scenes were pretty solid. There were multiple positions for each scene and even different girls in a scene if that is something you want. You even get to be in first person while going around the mall and you can see the main character's boobs bouncing. How neat is that? The different outfits you got to have were a nice touch too, because they could influence how the other characters interacted with you.

The dialogue was... interesting. It didn't make me uncomfortable or make me drool over my screen; it just felt like everything that was happening was just kinda thrown at you. There were mistakes and errors in the text, but nothing too crazy, so it is easy to overlook.

If you love big anime tiddies, this game is perfect for you. Overall, I fully recommend.

Fetish Locator Week Two is, dare I say, better than Week one! I won't go too much into detail for this review, as it is very similar to Week One and you can read my review for the first one if you want more in-depth.

The devs definitely have a passion for their work and Week Two shows that immensely. Week Two is a such an improvement to the first one. There are so many different scenes in Week Two, which was something I wished Week One had done better. There are plenty of choices in how you go about the game itself and in the scenes. You can literally choose or not choose what fetishes you want to see and I just love that the devs put that into the game instead of forcing the player to just follow the script. In addition to multiple scenes, the animations that came with them were heavily improved as well; different angles, positions, etc. made the whole experience genuinely better.

The story is a great continuation from Week One and they hinted at a Week Three coming and I, for one, cannot wait to see what happens.

Overall, if you have played Week One and are looking for a continuation of an already great Visual Novel, Fetish Locator Week Two is right up your alley. I fully recommend.

Fetish Locator Week One is very solid!

This Adult Visual Novel has so many freaking fetishes. Crazy, I know, considering the title. But, this is a huge bonus for those out there that have been looking for a VN that explores that extra side stuff that most VNs don't include. All the fetishes and choices are what sold me and hooked me in. I don't want to go too into detail on which fetishes there are, but there are plenty. And the best part is that the game lets you choose if you want that specific fetish included in your game or not. So, if you don't like a certain fetish, boom, take it out. If you want everything, like I did, boom, it's all there.

The visuals weren't too crazy, but definitely lovely to look at. I wish there were more scenes and positions during those naughty visuals, but for what they were, I definitely got my rocks off. Something this VN does that not many others do is that they added voice over. Now, it isn't reading every line, but they do occasionally speak and add an interjection whilst talking to them. I think it is a really nice touch because you can get an idea of the voices for the characters.

The game has many different branching options in accordance to which fetish you do or do not want to see. I like the varying options it gives you so you can play exactly how you want. Surprisingly, I finished this game in just about 3 hours. For a VN like this, I would have expected more and was kind of disappointed that the game ended when it did. I am looking forward to playing Week Two and seeing what happens through the many branches.

Fetish Locator is a must need for you Adult Visual Novelists out there. If you love fetishes, you NEED this VN. It does them all so well and so enjoyable. Overall, I fully recommend.

Dreams of Desire is another Adult Visual Novel that I thought would capture my attention (and my d*ck's attention) just like the other greats out there that I have played and enjoyed. And yet, this VN was extremely disappointing.

The story was the biggest letdown for me. I know some people don't care about the story and just want those naughty scenes, but after playing multiple Visual Novels and Adult games, the story is very important to me. Dreams of Desire just dragged on. The text was bland and every choice felt meager in comparison to other Visual Novels. I went through about 6 episodes before I just started skipping some of the dialogue. It was just immensely boring and could have used some improvement. The story itself was also just whack. After meeting the first apparition, I sort of just lost all interest for the rest of the game.

The visuals were definitely some of the best parts about this game. Although, the main character's penis is off-colored from his skin color to the point that his ♥♥♥♥ looks almost decayed. That being said, the scenes were very well done, but I kept wishing for more variety. You can definitely tell the dev likes feet in this game, and if you do too, well, you are in for a wild treat.

The music is nothing to write on about. The same 5 different tracks or so and it did not do a good job of capturing the scene that was being played. For example, all the sex scenes had the SAME EXACT music every time. Give me something to work with here!

Overall, I will not be coming back to Dreams of Desire as I think there are much better Visual Novels out there that you could be spending your time and money on. I fully do not recommend.
