Overrated and lack luster. You need to have low standards to fully enjoy the game. No attention to detail like the old games. Cutting corners on the roster with only 180 with 80 being purely transformations and different time periods of the same character. It's fine that type of variation in characters exists but we only have 20 more characters than BT3 and they removed a lot to add different ones. The story mode could have better/more cutscenes. The what if paths could've been more interesting and fleshed out. (MOST of them are just a few photos with dialogue). The fighting is very close to the original with some new mechanics but that's about it. The interactions between characters are very limited. The old easter eggs and hidden details in the old Budokai Tenkaichi games are completely gone.


The game is missing so much and has the bare minimum to be considered just a decent Dragon Ball Game

5.5/10 but will still play because I waited for it and I think it's tolerable I just wish it was more.
